Workers restored a slavery exhibit at the President’s House Site in Philadelphia on Thursday. The National Park Service had removed the panels in January after an executive order from President Donald Trump. The exhibit includes video and other materials about the enslaved people who lived there, including Oney Judge, who escaped and built a life in New Hampshire. The removal followed Trump’s Executive Order 14253 — “Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History” — which calls for eliminating “divisive narratives” from national sites.
