But Scytl sits at the top and maintains a series of databases on servers in foreign countries that all of the other election companies report up to. If ES&S runs your elections in your state, it will upload to a database called Clarity. If Dominion runs your elections in your state, it will upload to a database called Democracy Suite. Both of these database companies who actually hold the information about your election, or the live "votes," are owned by Scytl.
