Great job, Mom!

There was a teen boy in our neighborhood caught stealing packages by his mom. She made him apolgize to everyone, return the boxes, and mow their yards for a whole summer.

It's the right thing to do. Bonus for making the kids do (more of) the talking at that point. The lesson has to be theirs to learn. When moms do too much talking, it's too comfortable and mom's "fixing it".

I can't understand any parent who wouldn't make amends for their delinquent child's behaviour, but oh yes, many people don't believe in Jesus anymore do they? So they have no moral foundation.

That's how it's done. I would have also said, "if you ever see my son doing this again, call the cops, and let them take him to jail."

I hope they got that ass beat too.
