A great look at how most college programs play their backers out of a Mint Front. Owen Heinecke (#38) is a stack backer here, stacking the 4i, once the ball cuts back, he cuts back. It's Stack-Track-Fallback footwork: lateral step replace, tempoing the back, staying on the near hip, once the back turns the shoulders or plants, now work downhill, and fit.

Defenses in the NFL are increasingly attacking offenses through the open-side B-gap (away from the TE). Against Duo, the line movement can force the RB weak, which is not how the play is designed to work. The Ravens use a boundary Will "stab" to create and force the Vikings' vertical run horizontal.
