Great message ‼️

Everyone talking about a trashed space when the context is a light layer of dust only proves the point

So many people are missing the point.

I’ve seen someone else deliver this same message. I agree, with one exception: if you expect me to eat food you’ve prepared and your kitchen is unsanitary and/or have cats on counters, or dogs licking spoons. No thank you. 🤷🏽♀️

Just because you notice a person has dust on the light fixtures, doesn't mean you were looking for it, or doesn't mean you're judging them, it just mean that you noticed it

I have this problem because if I see a rat or roaches you ain’t gotta worry about me coming back ever again.😭

The only thing I have to add to that is just a phrase my grandma pounded into my head.... You always leave a place cleaner than you found it. Or nicer, or do something to show your gratitude for even being there. But yeah.

When you invite people to your house, please tidy up the place. If people show up unannounced, you are allowed to be messy in that case.

I love this. Thank you.

If someone's home is so filthy, you don't want to be there and you say you care about them, help them clean up one weekend. Some ppl are so cocky on here. My family helps each other all the time, you never know what someone is going through. Be polite and a helping hand. ❤️

If my light fixtures are dusty and I haven’t noticed, it’s because I’m 5ft 3 😂

From the hosting end, my mom used to say "If they come looking for dust, don't disappoint them." She once had a church lady run her finger along the top of a door frame (when mom had mastitis and was in horrible pain). Church lady never got invited back.

Great message but also folks and please listen to me don’t get taken an advantage of as well, yes, it’s good to look at the good at others but also don’t ignore the red flags.

My friends and loved ones always apologize for the mess, and I always remind them that I didn't come to judge, I came to spend time with the people I love. I don't care if you're a clean freak minimalist or a messy hoarder, we all deserve love.

@CarisiGirl80 Very good!

As a person with dust on my light fittings, I endorse this message

Naaaah this shit got limitations 🤣

My sentiments exactly. Don’t bring your judgmental and critical eye to my home. Matter of fact, just don’t visit me at all.

I have to say if the house doesn't smell clean or doesn't smell like food is being cooked .. I will assume she is probably scrolling on tik Tok .. I say this with respect to all ladies never bringing a man home if your house is not clean.mans are not going to take u seriously. If the house doesn't match his expectations

I prefer a house that's lived in! I'll push your clean laundry to the other side of couch and sit down. IDGAF Lived in and nasty are completely different!

Visited my SIL. Her home is immaculate. Literally. She cooked a huge dinner for us and served us. Without trying I saw some dust. I left it. Her home is beautiful. She’s beautiful. I smiled in my heart knowing she loves us. That’s it.

The great Chinese philosopher Bruce Lee once said: When yo point a finger at someone, three fingers point back at you.

LOL

That’s crazy, cause I always notice dust on people’s light fixtures, especially fans, because I have bad allergies and my nose immediately gets stuffy if it’s too much dust or they have the fans going. Most people don’t periodically clean them and that’s okay. 🤷🏽♀️

Great message! Neighbor invited me over and the first thing I said in my head was it smells. And her bed was full of junk. Guess what? I jumped right in her bed. Came over the next day and helped her fold her clothes and make up her bed. We’re BFFS NOW!

Wow 🤩 thank you and that wise woman that gave you that advise. The first thing I thought about was cleaning the dust off my ceiling fan and everything that needed to be dusted in the house. After hearing the rest I invite you to eat and fellowship not judge.

So nobody can notice dirt? Man gone

Yeah. I hosted Thanksgiving with my girlfriend for her family. Her mother came in and said my windows were dirty. I told her to turn her chair around and don't look out the window.

What if I’m allergic to dust?

The hyper criticism that has become the norm on social media spills out into the way we view the real world.

If I go in someone's home and see dust, I think "Whew! I'm not the only one!"

It means they can’t be bothered to clean their own home. What else are they neglecting? How clean is their food prep?

One may notice, but one doesn't need to comment about it... dust is dust.

When you focus on love you receive more of it

Lacking situational awareness my boy...

The message went over many of your heads, and you guys are the people this man is talking about lol
