I'm glad Jason Rantz on Seattle Red covered the Nolan Wells case and asked the questions a lot of us are asking -- why are his parents teaming up with race hustlers Benjamin Crump and Al Sharpton to imply -- without any evidence thus far -- that a gang of white people murdered their son. Why are they putting trust in Crump, who "claim[ed] law enforcement can't be trusted when black children are killed? This before they even got any substantive details about the investigation!"

Karmelo Anthony seeks a retrial. The original judge has been removed from the case, and a new judge is weighing previously excluded evidence. Excluded evidence includes claims that Austin Metcalf spray painted racial slurs in sixth grade and that Karmelo Anthony told friends he was on the verge of a mental break before the incident. Anthony told people before the incident that he wanted to stab someone and lick their blood off the blade. He had several psychotic episodes in the past, including stalking his girlfriend hours before he stabbed Metcalf to death. The jury never heard about Anthony’s disturbing history or Metcalf’s juvenile record because of a “gentleman’s agreement” with the defense ahead of the murder trial.

Here’s the biggest takeaway from the Karmelo Anthony murder trial: Karmelo’s parents should be going to prison, too. At 17 years old, Karmelo committed premeditated murder in cold blood. He then ran and hid the murder weapon and lied about attacking and slaughtering and innocent kid. What kind of family raises a monster like this? The kind of family that won’t let their son plead guilty so they can fundraise off his murder trial because of tribal, low IQ hatred of white people. Karmelo is using a public defender. Where did the $700K go? New sneakers, a new house, a cruise? The parents are profiteering of their son’s murder of a white kid. Absolute broken, irredeemable culture. If Karmelo Anthony’s parents hadn’t failed him, he wouldn’t have committed such a barbaric crime. If he was raised to not act like an animal, Austin Metcalf would still be alive, and Karmelo wouldn’t be facing a prison sentence. Unfortunately isn’t a new or rare trend. We see it time and time again. We need to talk openly and honestly about how we got here. Disproportionate crime rates, broken families, fatherlessness, subcultures that worship violence. Enough is enough.
