Great PSA from an MTA bus driver for anyone complaining about getting tickets for parking in the #buslane or #busstop. Just don't do it. You're slowing everyone else down, and thankfully you're now going to pay for that monetarily. #nyctransit #mta

@MTA Good. There’s a @BaldorFood truck that parks and blocks the only lane of traffic on West End Ave every morning during school drop off causing city buses, school buses and ambulances etc to have to drive in opposite lane of traffic.

@MTA ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️🎯✅

@MTA This is a great start but I would also like to know what enforcement mechanisms are in place for cars with obscured license plates and how well that is working.

@MTA Actually 😊

@MTA Can’t wait for the enforcement to start along the B63, B70, B35 + B37 routes in Southwest Brooklyn!

@MTA They can use the same tech to scan e-bike license plates. Can’t wait.

@rudezoneNJT @MTA So, in other words, it’s just a parking fee if you can afford the ticket. Fines don’t affect the wealthy, only the poor. Tow the fucking car so the space can be used properly.

@MTA Skill issue I drive in the bus lane daily and haven’t gotten one yet!

@MTA Buses create more traffic than anything else on city streets.

@MTA We need someone to enforce the MTA bus drivers because they break every law: running red traffic lights, crossing over the double yellow lines, driving down the wrong way of traffic and turning from the middle lane, blocking traffic when the bus lane is empty.
