Great to launch Labour’s local election campaign in Wolverhampton today alongside Keir Starmer. These elections are about our Labour values in action. We have a strong Labour story to tell. Reform are cutting services, where in charge. The Greens hypnotic promises are an illusion.

This is outrageous! It appears Labour are so terrified of Reform surging in the polls, they're plotting to cancel local elections in 2025. Labour called Reform a "threat to democracy", but it's Labour who are the real threat to democracy. Shameful.

🚨 HUGE WIN FOR REFORM UK Nigel Farage’s Reform Party just delivered a massive beatdown to Keir Starmer, gaining 350 council seats in a crushing blow to Labour. Starmer’s approval is in the toilet and voters are furious about the pace of change. His response? “These are tough results… I’m not walking away.” Keir Starmer should resign in DISGRACE

We went to Runcorn before the by-election to gauge the feeling there. Voters in the Labour safe seat felt betrayed by Keir Starmer, and saw no change under Labour. People in Runcorn turned to Reform UK as an alternative.

These election results were entirely predictable. We are losing ground to the Green Party and Reform because voters think that Labour is not really Labour anymore. Our next leader must return our party to its core values.

“Do Labour want to stop a Reform government or don’t they? Because Keir Starmer is not the man to do it!” People within Labour are saying that Starmer is an “electoral liability” as they suffer huge losses to Reform. But does the party “have the guts” to do something about it?
