We had 3DFX before that. Still have my obsidian to SLI on a single card that was the top of the line back then. Then Nvidia bought them out to gain their talent patents intellectual property etc. Now we're starting to see a re-emergence of multi GPU workloads with some pretty talented people putting out amazing things to not let that on board video sit there and do nothing when they hook up a higher end external GPU. I hope Xbox Helix was thinking ahead want more GPU power? Just plug in this new XBox exclusive GPU as external device to your new Xbox helix and now travel at warp 10. Course developing games now in my life I have plenty of variety of AMD 9070xt my daughters workstation 4070 TI super on my main workstation 3080 12 gig etc my secondary AI music workstation also running deep seek. Didn't get the 5090 obvious reasons price and don't want my house to burn down 😹😁😎
