He simply isn't lazy and plays 100% every time, even on a line drive grounder he will sprint to the base regardless. Ohtani comes from a culture where giving it 100% every play is a standard. Yes he is skilled but he's simply not lazy. 99% of baseball/basketball players are lazy and spoiled and could have his stats if they had some self respect.

That dude is so good I will probably watch a baseball game for the first time in 30+ years. Baseball is usually slow, boring and I got tired of watching someone have to adjust one batting glove 44 times the other 36.75 times, hitting one shoe three times, the other 4 and then it’s arts and crafts hour so they can draw shit in the dirt with their bats. @MLB might want to speed the damn thing up more.
