Yuno fought Lucius the entire time. While Asta was off country, Yuno was destroying demons and making his allies stronger. While i do believe that both will be wizard king, it’s insane to bring up Merit and not think Yuno has just as much

Yuno is the Prince of Spade Kingdom. It would be grade if he goes their and ruled over their and Astha would become the Wizard king of colver kingdom and eliminate the equality.

Currently in the anime yuno does have more merit

See I know Asta is going to be the wizard king but I did want Yuno to get it before we knew he was the prince of the spade kingdom. Now I do want Asta to become wizard king so him and Asta are technically at the same status.
