Green Lantern had a production problem before this show shot a single frame. 2011 gave us a CGI suit, a digital world, and a man who lived in neither one. Lanterns had to make him believable before it made him spectacular. Episode 1 understood that completely.

What a streamer speed run this guy had. Went from calling people the n word, to macing them, to shooting them all in a week. ChudTheBuilder shot a man who attacked him outside a courthouse in Clarksville & accidentally grazed himself in the process. Before it escalated, he asked the man if he was going to “chimp out” the man then walked up & sucker punched him. It is unclear if the man survived.

Green Goblin was way more menacing here than from Sam Raimi’s first Spider-Man film because he has fought a Spider-Man before but MCU Spidey never fought a Green Goblin before. Which makes it all more interesting to watch since Peter had no idea that the Green Goblin was just a next level problem.
