A friend's wife used to get her dose of religion by watching the Crystal Cathedral telecast. The church had massive walls of crystal glass. I asked her how many homeless they could have fed with the Windex bill for keeping the glass clean. She got very mad at me.

Maybe you can just write a how too book. Cause the world needs more grifters and cults.

This just reaffirms what I've always thought - that "churches" are actually a business. Think about it... with all of the buildings you ever drive past during the course of your life, have you ever driven by a church with a For Sale sign in front of it? Not me. Churches rarely ever go out of business.

Thank you for pointing out churches are businesses. Amazing that people who can least afford it will give 10% of their salaries to a church when they are in need of food, health care, clothing, etc. sadly there little to nothing they get for their investment.

Someone posted online about why churches were closing across the country and one big reason was because they could afford their own healthcare plans. Costs kept going up so they closed the churches instead. You really need to get costs down across the board.
