I feel so badly for the good people in Alberta. Hate won last night and it’s only going to get worse. Ughhh I’m so sorry 😔

Democracy is such a privilege. The saddest part of it is when people choose to ignore the privilege and don’t bother to vote. Like you said people in other countries die for it and people in Canada can’t be bothered. Ford won Ontario with 18% of 47% who voted.

I think I needed to see this, even if it's through some tears. <3 to you @jannarden for the reminder when our hearts are breaking and our brains are stretching to make sense.

Jann, democracy doesn't work when half those eligible choose to not vote There has never been a more important Alberta election, and the UCP were too far right to bring true conservatives out and many are afraid of the NDP from past slanders I fear for Albertans, good Albertans
