This is the first time I've voted against a school bond, I'm in Austin.The reason is the point you made, I don't know what is going to happen with Public schools and I am not voting more money for these Private "Christian" indoctrination schools.

It's sad that public schools can't get funding anymore. I was very upset when Gov. Abbott held their funding hostage over vouchers. I am equally upset that you are acting just like him. Who in Texas will stand up for public school?

Vote YES! The district was failing so badly that the state had to take over. They failed the kids. Now the state needs to make sure they fix the problems that these local elected officials created. Vote YES!

This week as our kids take a deeply flawed STAAR test graded by AI and manipulated by Greg Abbott’s Texas Education Agency Commissioner, let’s remember that upon Greg Abbott’s direction, my amendment to the voucher scam bill to require the same test be given to private school kids who receive vouchers as our kids in public schools take was rejected. As he forces a supersized STAAR test on our kids in public school, Greg Abbott knows that private school parents won’t tolerate the STAAR test. We should not tolerate a governor who wrecks our public schools. It’s time to fire Greg Abbott and end the STAAR test.
