Amazing how many gate keepers over the years, would chastise you for not spiking a 57-foot curveball or a fastball at the eyes on 0-2.

Love it. Rly like his point about limiting the pitches the hitter sees thru the game. Adds up in late innings during third and fourth time thru lineup.

I feel like with fixed pitch count limits in youth baseball now, kids should be learning to never waste pitches

0-2 you make eye contact with hitter and he will tell you what pitch to throw. If he has a passive demeanor attack! If there is aggressive demeanor “Like hey F&$k you what you looking 👀 at?” Then you got to be little more careful depending on situation. #werthebulls

Easy to say when you can hit spots like he could. It doesn't necessarily need to be a waste pitch, but it better be on one of the corners.

Gawd I miss that guy on the mound. NOT TO FACE!! To watch the Mozart of Pitching, the Van Gogh of Baseball. After MOST of his nasty pitches I used to jump up outa my seat laughing how nasty the pitch was and losing my drink at the same time. Maddux Dirrrrrrrtttaayyyyyy

@SkyWhee92 I wish you would’ve asked him how many times he got Gwynn to 0-2!
