How can you talk about us without having interviewed us??? We are from over TWENTY different cross partisan, non partisan, and independent organizations and individuals both in the USA and Canada. We have joined forces to garner public attention on the issue of girls sports which is impacting jr. high, high school, and college athletics. This is the biggest sustained coordinated collaboration of diverse organizations and groups that has ever happened in the USA and Canada on this issue of women and girls sports. Our efforts have been MASSIVE and cannot be dismissed!! We have provoked conversation and have pressured the @WNBA to have real conversations about preserving the integrity of female athletes in baseball. I am friends with one of the women who organized the first pro-Sophie rally; she lives in WA where the first rally took place. She is a feminist campaigner, @KnownHeretic Others who have attended are @KDansky @DIAGdemocrats @WomenAreReals @JenniferSey @LGBCourage Subsequent rallies have involved out-of-area mostly liberal women active in women's rights, and also LGB women objecting to the force teaming of TQ and harms to lesbians, as well as sports fan locals of all political persuasions. Sophie Cunningham's statement, that girls should not have to compete against biological males, was important and rare for a current athlete to voice, Women used these rallies as a jumping off point to get attention for the underlying fairness issue, and to show support and appreciation for Sophie, because this topic is so silenced on the Left/ MSM and people speaking up are vilified as right wing bigots. Most of us are liberal feminists who live in reality. Males displacing females is happening all over America in high school state championship meets. Girls are worthy of their own teams FFS! We fought for those teams. Obviously, the reverse is not happening. So this gender re-jigger only benefits males. Trans is A Big Lie, and we, Democrats, fell for it. WPATH lied. They buried their own systematic evidence reviews when they came back showing 'no reliable evidence.' It's a medical fraud and kids have been permanently harmed in service of it. It's an idea about the self, unverifiable and not innate, no different than Goth. Europe is reverse ferreting AWAY from transing kids. We can support non conformers with NO LIES. Like Voltaire warned, buying into an absurdity leads to atrocities: sexually neutered teens (puberty blockers plus cross sex hormones = permanently ruined sexual function), male rapists with dicks in female jails ("prison-onset" gender dysphoria), and little girls being told boys "are" girls if they say so, and get to take their trophies. This is bad territory for Democrats, a terrible Achilles Heel, and needs to be faced.

This movement has been growing for over a decade, since the appearance of Dutee Chand and Caster Semenya, best exemplified perhaps when the entire women's 800m podium at the Brazil Olympics was 5ARD males. That you've been asleep and ignoring the issue does not change its history, or the fact that women and female athletes have been in the vanguard for this entire time. It's bigger than the WNBA. The problem is men in women's sports, prisons, locker rooms.... When you incorporate an absurd idea like gender identity into law & policy you get absurd results. A man might believe himself to be a woman, but believing things doesn't make them real.
