Former PUP leader Brian Ervine has been leading tours exploring the rich Gaelic history and place names of east Belfast, an area he says contains more Irish language place names than anywhere else in the city. Standing at the site of Castle Reagh, once home to Gaelic lord Con O'Neill, Ervine told The Irish News that rediscovering this shared heritage could help build reconciliation between communities, noting: "A language can be a language of reconciliation, rather than a language of division."

“John you may have your own prejudice and your own views about that”. Has Prime Minister Luxon at last run out of tolerance for New Zealand’s perennially left wing fake newsers? He became uncharacteristically exasperated with TV One’s manic John Campbell this morning. In a discussion on recognition of Palestine, Campbell confronted the PM with quotes from far left ex Labour PM Helen Clark and TV One’s well known fake newser Logan Church. Enough to make any reasonable person spit tacks. Campbell also used a quote from the PM on Christianity, apparently thinking this provided a logical reason for the recognition of Palestine statehood. Mr Campbell became even more frenzied as he made this point, and particularly agitated when the PM suggested he was prejudiced. Shouting that he was only doing his job and “asking questions”. Wrong really. Mr Campbell’s so called questions are almost always based on extreme left premises contrived to force a falsely incriminating answer. Mr Luxon only has himself to blame. His govt’s lack of action in sorting out the leftist snake pit that is laughingly called TV One News is appalling. It should be sold off as soon as possible. Maybe this rude and unprofessional performance from Mr Campbell might prompt Mr Luxon to swing the axe. I earnestly wish it would.
