Gremlins 2: The New Batch is a 1990 NES isometric action game from Sun Electronics. You play Gizmo, who must fight through hazards like spiders and electrified wires, collecting items such as a bow and arrow, to reach the Gremlin Control Centre and wipe out the Gremlins.

Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990) When this movie made its debut on home video, the filmmakers altered the film-breaking scene. Instead of a melting film reel and Hulk Hogan intervening in a theater, the VHS version simulates the tape being "eaten" by a VCR and the Gremlins changing TV channels. This time, John Wayne (in footage from “Chisum” (1970)) forces the gremlins to continue the movie, although voice impersonation was needed since Wayne had been dead since 1979. Wayne's son, Patrick Wayne, recommended Chad Everett for the voice. Notably, a clip from “Falling Hare” (1943), featuring Bugs Bunny and a different cartoon gremlin, appears in this version. This alternate sequence is typically included as an Easter egg or bonus feature on subsequent DVD and Blu-ray releases.
