Zambia’s Secretary to the Cabinet, Patrick Kangwa, says opposition presidential candidate Brian Mundubile was present when police raided a group authorities have described as a “militia,” accused of developing military plans involving foreign nationals and operating illegal training camps. I’ve wrapped up the year with a focused effort on increasing muscle strength, power, and mass—an aspect of training that I view as critical for long-term health and functional independence. What really stood out was how this process not only strengthens the body, but also hones mental toughness. I’ve noticed a clear improvement in stress management and an overall resilience that you don’t typically glean from textbooks or scientific papers—this is something you experience firsthand. In many ways, strength training is a pillar of what I often talk about in terms of longevity: building and maintaining lean muscle mass is key to better metabolic health, balance, and resilience as we age. I'm profoundly grateful for discovering a disciplined approach that has become a lifelong practice—helping me feel more confident, functionally independent, and overall healthier. I’m looking forward to carrying this momentum into 2025 and continuing to refine both the physical and mental aspects of my training. Here’s to a new year of improved performance, sustained health, and a deeper appreciation for the synergistic effect of strength on our bodies and our minds. Happy New Year!

Corruption: The Real Reason Trump Won’t Allow the Gordie Howe Bridge to Open? U.S. President Donald Trump announced yesterday that he will not permit the opening of the new international bridge spanning the Michigan River. The P3 project is several years late and has seen billions of dollars in cost overruns. It not only has the hallmarks of bid rigging, collusion, and antitrust breaches, but also involved the Canadian government allowing some of the most notoriously corrupt construction giants to participate in the procurement process, such as SNC-Lavalin, VINCI, and ACS Infrastructure. On top of all that, the procurement and the early stages of the project were overseen by Canadian politicians with direct ties to Sikh extremists, namely affiliates of the World Sikh Organization (WSO), whose executives have a long history of proximity to violence and terrorism. In this video report, I summarize my initial report from February 11, 2024, where I interviewed industry expert and whistleblower Bob Rai, who provided me with evidence he compiled over more than a decade, and Dr. Gary Botting, a double-PhD, former criminal defence lawyer, and leading expert on extradition law. Dr. Botting complimented Mr. Rai’s research skills, saying it warrants an investigation by authorities, and outlined that the U.S. does have standing to prosecute and extradite those involved in the project if it deems the allegations to be prima facie. The cost of the project, which is being absorbed entirely by Canadian taxpayers, is about $7 billion, but according to a 2018 study by Toronto professor Eric Miller, it could take the bridge more than 61 years to pay off its debt, with total taxpayer subsidies ranging from $14 billion to $52 billion over the life of the project. Amarjeet Sohi, a former suspected Khalistani terrorist who was jailed in India, and who has faced credible allegations of corruption involving his family and election donors’ firm in another P3 project, was the infrastructure minister who oversaw most of the procurement process, including key stages such as the selection of the preferred bidder for the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project. Sohi hired a WSO executive’s son, as an assistant at the time, while the other son was hired as director of operations by Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan, whose father was also a WSO executive. Navdeep Bains, another minister whose decision-making had influence over the project, was himself a WSO executive. The question arises how much influence the WSO, an extremist organization with a history of condoning violence, may have had over Canadian politics and, in turn, over the project.

This was precisely when dinosaurs from the American West became an icon of science, and the transition to corporate capitalism affected the practice of vertebrate paleontology in surprisingly concrete and far-reaching ways. Not only did dinosaurs reflect the obsession with all things big and powerful that prevailed at the time, but the science of paleontology itself was profoundly influenced by the creation of large, corporately organised, and bureaucratically managed museums of natural history. Sir Richard Owen, a Fellow of the Royal Society, coined the term “Dinosauria” in 1841-1842 meaning “terrible lizard” or “terrible reptile” to describe fossilized reptile bones found earlier. Earlier this month, a large quantity of valuable ancient artefacts was discovered in Dera Bugti during excavations by local people, while just yesterday, local Baloch people in the oil and mineral rich region of the Kohlu District (Kohlu, Kahan of Kohistan Marri region is known the richest region of entire Balochistan. These discoveries have once again drawn the world’s attention to the deep and ancient civilizational history of Balochistan. Where is Kohlu? It is believed that It has more oil than Venezuela and Iran) also discovered ancient artefacts and archaeological remains. Kohlu is the hometown of Baloch nationalist leader Hyrbyair Marri HYRBYAIR MARRI the son of Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri. Former army chief Gen. Pervez Musharraf offered billion royalty to the Nawab Marri and Hyrbyair Marri to allow Pakistan for oil, gas, gold, critical minerals exploration but both the leaders refused to allow Pakistani military to extract the Baloch resources. These artefacts are not merely old objects; they are living documents of Balochistan’s past. Every seal, vessel, ornament, tool, sculpture, or other ancient object preserves the story of an era from which valuable knowledge can be gained about human society, trade, art, religion, ways of life, and the evolution of civilization. Scientific research into these remains can contribute not only to understanding Balochistan but also to understanding the shared history of all humanity. It is a great honour for Balochistan that its land has preserved such ancient civilizations and historical heritage. The Republic of Balochistan appeals to all international institutions, archaeologists, historians, museums, and organizations working to preserve ancient civilizations, Mehrgarh, the Indus Valley Civilization, and human history to play their role in protecting Balochistan’s historical heritage. Balochistan urgently needs international attention and cooperation so that these precious artefacts can be preserved, documented, and made available for scientific research, while protecting them from illegal transfer, destruction, or loss. Spread over 1080 acres this test range has a dedicated Command & Control Centre, UAV Take off Area, Endurance and Communication Range check facility, Parachute Recovery Area, Static & Moving Target Engagement, Target Hit and CEP Measurement, Warhead Lethality Test facility, and many more. After the inauguration the PM visited the product gallery wherein SDAL showcased its products like Pinaka Rocket System, Air-bombs, Mines, Grenade, Military Explosives, ATGM, Nagastra 1 & 2 Loiter Munitions, and many more. Thereafter, the PM was then escorted by the Chairman to the newly constructed Air strip where he was received by Mr. Manish Nuwal, MD & CEO, SDAL. He then proceeded to unveil the Plaque to mark the Inauguration of the new 1.27 km Runway Facility for Development & Testing of MALE/HALE Class Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Key highlights of displayed systems are as follows: - • Loitering Munitions: Many Indian industries and start-ups have entered drone related technologies and systems mostly focused on surveillance and logistics applications. Use of drones and UAVs for combat applications requires critical competency and infrastructure. Keeping in view the futuristic requirements of this emerging technology, SIDAL has taken the initiative to develop Nagastra series of Loiter Munitions of ranges from 15 km to more than 100 km and explosive payload carrying capability from 1 kg to 10 kg. Nagastra 3 is a Vehicle Launched Loiter Munition System of endurance 3 hours, range 100 km and can carry 8.5 kg warhead. It is being developed under Make 2 project from Arty of Indian Army. • Bhargavastra is an indigenously designed and developed Counter Drone System meant for quick interception of drones for an assured hard kill using tiny, guided missiles with swarm engagement capability. This solution offers mobile protection against drone attacks with near simultaneous engagement of multiple drones. I remain absolutely flabbergasted at the level of propaganda on China in France, even on state television. This is a show called CCeSoir on France tv, and the guy speaking is Romain Graziani, supposedly one of France's leading "experts" on China, a Professor of Chinese studies at the École Normale Supérieure of Lyon. The way he narrates the history of Taiwan and why it matters to China is, put politely, a complete fabrication. Listening to him, "Taiwan was only really part of the Chinese nation for only 10 years" (and saying otherwise is "pure revisionism") and it's "only in the 1990s" that China's "obsession" with reuniting Taiwan first arose. He further asserts that it's only nowadays with Xi Jinping that "the predatory voracity of China leads to rewriting all of history as if it had been a lost province in the style of Ukraine with Russia." This is so outrageously wrong that I'm not even sure where to start. For one, as a Frenchman, maybe he should read the book "Quand la Chine s'éveillera" ("When China awakens") by Alain Peyrefitte, a former senior French politician and De Gaulle's confidant. In this book written in 1972 (so long before the 1990s), Peyrefitte - drawing from his extensive discussions with Zhou Enlai in China - describes Taiwan as "China's Alsace–Lorraine", drawing the comparison with France's own historical trauma of losing these provinces to Germany in 1871, showing that China's desire for reunification with Taiwan was already a central national priority decades before the 1990s, not a recent invention as Graziani falsely claims. In the book Peyrefitte also relates how he saw in China so many "Let's free Taiwan" slogans alongside others such as "Let's crush imperialism", demonstrating again how central it was to China back then already. The truth is that China's view of Taiwan as an inseparable part of its territory that needs to be reunited has been a persistent diplomatic stance ever since the creation of the PRC (and even before when it was colonized by Japan), making Graziani's timeline not just revisionism but an outright historical fabrication. Whereas Ukraine is a sovereign nation facing external aggression that violates its territorial integrity, Taiwan represents a separatist challenge to China's internationally recognized sovereignty. Supporting Taiwan independence therefore means endorsing the very violation of territorial integrity that is condemned in Ukraine's case, an irreconcilable contradiction. I remain absolutely flabbergasted at the level of propaganda on China in France, even on state television. This is a show called CCeSoir on France tv, and the guy speaking is Romain Graziani, supposedly one of France's leading "experts" on China, a Professor of Chinese studies at the École Normale Supérieure of Lyon. The way he narrates the history of Taiwan and why it matters to China is, put politely, a complete fabrication. Listening to him, "Taiwan was only really part of the Chinese nation for only 10 years" (and saying otherwise is "pure revisionism") and it's "only in the 1990s" that China's "obsession" with reuniting Taiwan first arose. He further asserts that it's only nowadays with Xi Jinping that "the predatory voracity of China leads to rewriting all of history as if it had been a lost province in the style of Ukraine with Russia." This is so outrageously wrong that I'm not even sure where to start. For one, as a Frenchman, maybe he should read the book "Quand la Chine s'éveillera" ("When China awakens") by Alain Peyrefitte, a former senior French politician and De Gaulle's confidant. In this book written in 1972 (so long before the 1990s), Peyrefitte - drawing from his extensive discussions with Zhou Enlai in China - describes Taiwan as "China's Alsace–Lorraine", drawing the comparison with France's own historical trauma of losing these provinces to Germany in 1871, showing that China's desire for reunification with Taiwan was already a central national priority decades before the 1990s, not a recent invention as Graziani falsely claims.
