Don't listen to this guy in the video; these are folk tales. Watermelon sweetness is about how much sugar it absorbed from the ground. Usually, a deeper yellow spot means it grew on the vine long enough to develop that yellow spot from not getting sunlight to keep it green, 2nd is that the hollow mylar balloon sound knocks on it like a hollow echo. 3rd sign on watermelon is weight, that sugar weighs heavily. Oh, the orange that bump is more natural, a navel orange should have caused it, type orange it is. For a sweet orange, here is the problem: most oranges in grocery stores are put into a food coloring tank these days and picked way too early, but weight is the biggest key, and thin skin as the orange is more developed and less pulp, meaning grown tree ripe longer, where it develops the sugar to be sweet. Last point, don't take advice from videos about produce without checking reliable sources online, or some moron tells you to flick stems off avocados, and you wonder why it's black inside a day later cause you let the oxygen get inside to oxidize it!

Pretty sure that dude likes buttholes.

if you can see your wife over grocery aisles you married godzilla

This is how I keep track of the TV remotes. I zip tie them together and tie a balloon to them.

Organic does NOT mean no herbicides or no pesticides. There are many organic certified herbicides and pesticides. Example: pyrethrin, which comes comes from chrysanthemum flowers, is one of the most deadly toxins known to man. And it is 100% organic. Know your stuff or shut up!

Buen tip para no perder a la amiga con la que fuiste al súper.

Damn useful. Especially the balloon.

Good tips but there’s no scientific reason to be afraid of GMO food.

@grok Please fact check all these tips as either true/accurate or false/myth.

What a fucking retard

gotta use the tools you have

🤣🤣

But prepare a balloon for a one time tracking is pretty expensive, balloon cost money too 😅 just tie a bell on her, or use a long red stick instead of balloon, this way you can reuse it 👍 Even Elon Musk has to reuse rocket after launching.

@RealLTCRicBosi This is funny... but also great. And pinapples are ripe if you can pick from the crown of tge leafes the center leaves out. Than they r ready to go. There are also the durty dizen and the clean fifteen which shows what fruits/ veggies best org

the balloon idea a good one. Glenn is always complaining he keeps losing track of where I am. probs 'cuz I have a habit of wandering off when I spot something interesting.🤣🤣🤣

you're part of the problem

You have to tap the watermelon and feel it shake that means it’s sweet

Bro they legit got organic shi separated tf 🤣

Why do I get the feeling that this guy is a massive bullshitter?

my mum tied a balloon on me whenever we went grocery shopping when i was a kid coz i kept running away and getting lost in the aisles.

@grok verify all statements here please

Very useful tips, thank you!
Nice tips. But I will never use it. It need a lot of money to do this tips..

Genius 🤣

It is not a crime to be short. If any of my friends should come across this video, definitely they will tag and send it to me 😞

😂😂 what an asshole 😂

Yeah, no. You smell the stem, and if it smells strong like melon, it's ripe. I was taught by a professional. One that made 6 figures doing that.

I think the balloon should be attached to my husband, he's 6' 1, and I'm 5' 1. It always leaves me wondering how the hell I lose sight of someone that tall !🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

garlic sometime has the roots cut because they come from another country like China so to prevent any disease all the dirt and roots are cut

@FroggeeMusic23 some of these I've heard of & some of them are new to me.

I think this guy flip flops on the possibilities of what is ripe and fresh? I prefer ripe.
