The thing I help hitters with the most.. (1 good way to train it👇🏼) They start on time but never actually get loaded to GO. They think they’re ready. They’re not. So they start earlier next time. Same problem. —— This is a conversation I have with almost every hitter. When is the right time for you? - Based on your load style - Based on how long your load takes - Based on the pitcher’s velo, windup, or slide step —— If that’s you, try a “loaded at release” type load. Bobby Witt. Judge. Get your hip and elbow loaded early. Then stride with it ready to fire. “The pitcher is up there for 20 seconds telling you to get ready. Shame on you if you’re not ready to swing.” ____ If I have you in the cage, what I’ll do is have you get into a no stride position, get ready to swing and I stand there for 1-4 seconds… Holding my hand out over the plate ready to snap my fingers. When I snap, you swing. Do that 4-5x. You get the quickness, readiness feeling. Then we go back to stride with moving ball and you’re trying to time up that same GO move with the ball With your foot up in the air and the GO will make the foot go down. Not foot down then swing. That typically kills quickness. This works 95% of the time I’d say! —— > Send this to a hitter who needs it > Save it for when you need it.

Because let’s not rewrite history here. You NEVER engaged with any of them. Not once. Not when Louis had the premiere of All of Those Voices, not when Niall and Liam were literally together, not at any point where it would’ve actually made sense. No support, no acknowledgment, nothing. Just silence. But now suddenly it’s loud? And what makes it even worse is you couldn’t even show HALF of this energy for your own "love of your life" Liam when he released music. No proper posts, no real support, nothing consistent. But suddenly for Harry and Zayn you’re present, expressive, engaged? Be serious. And let’s be very clear… you’re not winning directioners over with this. You’re not winning solo fans over either. You don’t get to suddenly tap into their music after everything, after the silence, after lying about being a One Direction fan, and expect people to just accept it like it’s normal. It’s not. You’re on a journey on this kind of lonely road with your car and your car suddenly develops a fault, You can’t call for help and your lines can’t be reached due to network issues, what do you do? Except the car will stop and the engine won’t come up again, please reduce your speed and accelerate softly till you get to a nearby town, if it is an overheating issue, keep driving, put the gear in the neutral position and switch off the engine and let the car keep moving, switch it back on when you have to ascend a hilly road and the car can’t move freely on its own again. If the battery signal comes up while driving, chances are that your alternator has failed, or the alternator belt is damaged, apply the same method and switch off your AC, radio system or anything that may drain the battery while driving till you get to a safe place. If it is a flat tyre, maintain a low speed till you get to a safe place to change and use your spare, keep moving. Yes!!! Damage that tyre till you get to a safe place, just keep moving and make sure you have a spare tyre always and it is in a good condition. If the engine suddenly goes off on top speed, chances are that a fuse is damaged and this is why I will make a thread on how to identify different fuses and how to have them fixed temporarily in case of Emergencies. If your car jerks or experiences a lazy movement while driving, it’s likely to be a fuel related issue, fuel pump most likely, switch off the engine intermittently and put the gear in Neutral position, keep moving… if the fuel pump rests for about 5mins, it’ll pick up back when you ignite the engine, this will/may at least take you to a safe place or where you can have access to network to make calls. If you hear strange sounds like knocking sounds or the oil signal starts to blink, relax and reduce your speed, keep moving. Manage it till you get to a safe place or can have access to network. If your gear/transmission system isn’t selecting well, apply the same method, reduce your speed but keep moving, slow movement is better than no movement, your life and safety matters a lot. Please note that there are some Mechanical issues that nothing can solve on the road except patience and just to pray to God for safety and help, for example, you run into a pothole unknowingly and the oil pan hits the road and your engine or gear oil leaks away, or your ball joint or tie rod head pulls out, I’ll suggest you leave the car there, roll up your windows and lock up the car and start trekking till you get network or help, staying with the car may make you vulnerable to attacks or attract unexpected company, just keep walking away from the car for safety. Most importantly, please stay safe and be conscious of your environment. Be friendly with your Mechanic too or any Mechanic you see on the road. You’re on a journey on this kind of lonely road with your car and your car suddenly develops a fault, You can’t call for help and your lines can’t be reached due to network issues, what do you do? Except the car will stop and the engine won’t come up again, please reduce your speed and accelerate softly till you get to a nearby town, if it is an overheating issue, keep driving, put the gear in the neutral position and switch off the engine and let the car keep moving, switch it back on when you have to ascend a hilly road and the car can’t move freely on its own again. If the battery signal comes up while driving, chances are that your alternator has failed, or the alternator belt is damaged, apply the same method and switch off your AC, radio system or anything that may drain the battery while driving till you get to a safe place. If it is a flat tyre, maintain a low speed till you get to a safe place to change and use your spare, keep moving. Yes!!! Damage that tyre till you get to a safe place, just keep moving and make sure you have a spare tyre always and it is in a good condition. If the engine suddenly goes off on top speed, chances are that a fuse is damaged and this is why I will make a thread on how to identify different fuses and how to have them fixed temporarily in case of Emergencies. If your car jerks or experiences a lazy movement while driving, it’s likely to be a fuel related issue, fuel pump most likely, switch off the engine intermittently and put the gear in Neutral position, keep moving… if the fuel pump rests for about 5mins, it’ll pick up back when you ignite the engine, this will/may at least take you to a safe place or where you can have access to network to make calls. If you hear strange sounds like knocking sounds or the oil signal starts to blink, relax and reduce your speed, keep moving. Manage it till you get to a safe place or can have access to network. If your gear/transmission system isn’t selecting well, apply the same method, reduce your speed but keep moving, slow movement is better than no movement, your life and safety matters a lot. Please note that there are some Mechanical issues that nothing can solve on the road except patience and just to pray to God for safety and help, for example, you run into a pothole unknowingly and the oil pan hits the road and your engine or gear oil leaks away, or your ball joint or tie rod head pulls out, I’ll suggest you leave the car there, roll up your windows and lock up the car and start trekking till you get network or help, staying with the car may make you vulnerable to attacks or attract unexpected company, just keep walking away from the car for safety. Most importantly, please stay safe and be conscious of your environment. Be friendly with your Mechanic too or any Mechanic you see on the road. How to stay sane VTubing for a living! (From a full-time Vtuber and manager) 1 - Let people know you are in it full-time: Let your audience know this relies on their support without holding them hostage; Let them know you value their support, yes also to lurkers, yes also to people who can only be there for a few minutes a day. They are who made you. 2 - Be greatful: Don't whine about failures, celebrate the times you get back up. Nobody likes consistent negativity on their feed. Of course you can express when you are struggling, BUT consider building yourself AND your audience up, tons better for your MH. 3 - Budget properly: Yes, that new model or $300 background looks good, but surviving looks better, staying out of debt feels loads better. Keep aa 50-50 from your goals as a wage and only reinvest 50% of your VTuber stonks into VTubing, especially into projects that make very little back like music, skebs, etc. 4 - Be friendly, not a pushover: Risking your safety, mh, privacy is never worth it. Nobody should be making demands beyond the boundaries and timescale you set. Collab not comfortable for your schedule, don't do it. Friends pushing you to show your irl info, not your friends. Chat asking too much from you, you can give them a friendly no. It's your space, curate it to your needs. 5 - Work hard and reflect: Nobody wants to admit they have been lazy or could have done more, but sometimes it's good to admit to yourself that you were expecting too high a number for the content you put out. When I lived in Dallas, I did most of my climbing on an old grain silo. I was a fish out of water. Here’s the uncomfortable truth about where you live: You can build a good life anywhere. I made the best of a concrete jungle for 20 years. BUT You’ll never have a *great* life if you’re swimming against the current. There’s an old saying: “Wherever you go, there you are.” It’s meant to imply that happiness is found within, not from your environment. I beg to differ. It’s both. Environment DOES matter. Living in your happy place CAN make life better. Naval says that the three biggest decisions are: 1) Who you’re with 2) What you do 3) Where you live Here’s what’s odd: Most people are deliberate about the first two. We date around, we explore different careers, and *choose* the partner and job that fits us best. And when it doesn’t work out, we’ll make the hard decision to pivot. But when it comes to place, most people don’t choose anything—they live where they live by default, not by design. The thought of moving conjures our worst fears. So we rationalize staying put. (Ask me how I know.) When I finally moved to Boulder (in my late 40s), everything clicked. A good life became a great life. I still pinch myself. Here’s my advice: 1) Find your happy place. 2) Find a way to (eventually) get there. Living where you want isn’t a birthright, it’s a privilege that is earned over time. It might take years or—as in my case—decades. It’s never easy and there are always complicating factors. But one thing’s for sure: You’ll never get there if you don’t make a choice at all.

Cleaning it up. Making it safe. Building Hudson Yards, the High Line, the waterfronts, the skyline we’re all staring at right now. Then handing it over to de Blasio and now a socialist circus ringleader Mamdani! But history repeats. NYC went dark in the 70s. Dinkins came and went. Then the pendulum swung back harder than ever. Sometimes people need to feel the decline themselves before they remember what competence looks like. You need darkness to appreciate light. Pain to appreciate peace. Chaos to appreciate order. Happens time and time again. It’s cycles. New York City will come back. It always does. Don’t listen to blackpillers, to those that are chronically online, and to those that lack any type of travel, culture or knowledge. NYC is amazingly powerful and still is. It’s pumping. But really. This is overwhelming. I can’t imagine what that must feel like. 50k is no small number. And that’s from one city. I completely understand yoongi crying back then bc of how big bts was getting. This type of pressure could crush anyone if they didn’t have the right support system. But really. This is overwhelming. I can’t imagine what that must feel like. 50k is no small number. And that’s from one city. I completely understand yoongi crying back then bc of how big bts was getting. This type of pressure could crush anyone if they didn’t have the right support system. And we have seen this happen with a lot of artists. Just collapsing under the pressures of their fame and global reach. It’s what’s makes bts stand out I think. It’s the way they’re constantly and acutely aware of their impact. Humility runs in their veins. And never once have they ever taken even 1% of this global level phenomenon for granted. I never thought I would ever say this, but I have truly lost all my confidence today. A part of me still believes in my work and knows the value of what I have built here over the past five years. At the same time, I just feel faded. The people I associated with closely haven't supported me, and the majority of my collector base has left the space. I still took it on the chin and continued to show up because I blindly believed in what I do and I know what it has done for me. I never had a Plan B. There was never a backup plan, and that is exactly why I even got here in the first place. I was good for nothing but art, and that is the reason I have always said that art saved my life. But lately, it feels like it is the very thing that is going to kill me. I really don't know how I feel about everything anymore. I just don't know. But I am not going anywhere. This is my home, so I still gonna continue to show up! I just needed to get this off my chest.

Tested Claude + Blender today with two real workflows. Sharing what actually happened. First one was a simple demo. Gave it one sentence to build a cyberpunk room. Geometry, lighting, camera, render. It got there, though not everything in the prompt landed perfectly. Good enough to show the concept, not a stress test. Second one was more interesting. Threw a raw photogrammetry scan at it. Massey Ferguson tractor, 250k faces, grass background everywhere, debris floating all over the place. Asked Claude to clean it up autonomously. It did the work. Removed 106 floating chunks, cut face count by 87%, stripped the grass, flipped the model upright, set up studio lighting and rendered. Technically it worked. But honest answer: the result wasn't clean enough for production. This kind of cleanup still needs the right tools and someone who knows what they're doing. So here's where it actually fits. Not the precise technical stuff. The setup work. The repetitive stuff. The things that take forever if you don't already know Blender. It won't replace your 3D artist. It replaces the boring part before they start.
