The thing I help hitters with the most.. (1 good way to train it👇🏼) They start on time but never actually get loaded to GO. They think they’re ready. They’re not. So they start earlier next time. Same problem. —— This is a conversation I have with almost every hitter. When is the right time for you? - Based on your load style - Based on how long your load takes - Based on the pitcher’s velo, windup, or slide step —— If that’s you, try a “loaded at release” type load. Bobby Witt. Judge. Get your hip and elbow loaded early. Then stride with it ready to fire. “The pitcher is up there for 20 seconds telling you to get ready. Shame on you if you’re not ready to swing.” ____ If I have you in the cage, what I’ll do is have you get into a no stride position, get ready to swing and I stand there for 1-4 seconds… Holding my hand out over the plate ready to snap my fingers. When I snap, you swing. Do that 4-5x. You get the quickness, readiness feeling. Then we go back to stride with moving ball and you’re trying to time up that same GO move with the ball With your foot up in the air and the GO will make the foot go down. Not foot down then swing. That typically kills quickness. This works 95% of the time I’d say! —— > Send this to a hitter who needs it > Save it for when you need it.

You’re on a journey on this kind of lonely road with your car and your car suddenly develops a fault, You can’t call for help and your lines can’t be reached due to network issues, what do you do? If the battery signal comes up while driving, chances are that your alternator has failed, or the alternator belt is damaged, apply the same method and switch off your AC, radio system or anything that may drain the battery while driving till you get to a safe place. If it is a flat tyre, maintain a low speed till you get to a safe place to change and use your spare, keep moving. Yes!!! Damage that tyre till you get to a safe place, just keep moving and make sure you have a spare tyre always and it is in a good condition. If the engine suddenly goes off on top speed, chances are that a fuse is damaged and this is why I will make a thread on how to identify different fuses and how to have them fixed temporarily in case of Emergencies. (From a full-time Vtuber and manager) 1 - Let people know you are in it full-time: Let your audience know this relies on their support without holding them hostage; Let them know you value their support, yes also to lurkers, yes also to people who can only be there for a few minutes a day. Of course you can express when you are struggling, BUT consider building yourself AND your audience up, tons better for your MH. 3 - Budget properly: Yes, that new model or $300 background looks good, but surviving looks better, staying out of debt feels loads better. Keep aa 50-50 from your goals as a wage and only reinvest 50% of your VTuber stonks into VTubing, especially into projects that make very little back like music, skebs, etc. 4 - Be friendly, not a pushover: Risking your safety, mh, privacy is never worth it. Nobody should be making demands beyond the boundaries and timescale you set. Collab not comfortable for your schedule, don't do it. Friends pushing you to show your irl info, not your friends. Chat asking too much from you, you can give them a friendly no. Living in your happy place CAN make life better. Naval says that the three biggest decisions are: 1) Who you’re with 2) What you do 3) Where you live Here’s what’s odd: Most people are deliberate about the first two. We date around, we explore different careers, and *choose* the partner and job that fits us best. And when it doesn’t work out, we’ll make the hard decision to pivot. But when it comes to place, most people don’t choose anything—they live where they live by default, not by design. The thought of moving conjures our worst fears. So we rationalize staying put. (Ask me how I know.) When I finally moved to Boulder (in my late 40s), everything clicked. A good life became a great life. I still pinch myself. We date around, we explore different careers, and *choose* the partner and job that fits us best. And when it doesn’t work out, we’ll make the hard decision to pivot. But when it comes to place, most people don’t choose anything—they live where they live by default, not by design. The thought of moving conjures our worst fears. So we rationalize staying put. (Ask me how I know.) When I finally moved to Boulder (in my late 40s), everything clicked. A good life became a great life. I still pinch myself. Here’s my advice: 1) Find your happy place. 2) Find a way to (eventually) get there. Living where you want isn’t a birthright, it’s a privilege that is earned over time. It might take years or—as in my case—decades. It’s never easy and there are always complicating factors. But one thing’s for sure: You’ll never get there if you don’t make a choice at all.

Sitting here looking at the skyline of NYC with the family. Where I was born and raised. Imagine building the greatest city in America through five straight terms of Giuliani and Bloomberg. Cleaning it up. Making it safe. Building Hudson Yards, the High Line, the waterfronts, the skyline we’re all staring at right now. Then handing it over to de Blasio and now a socialist circus ringleader Mamdani! But history repeats. NYC went dark in the 70s. Dinkins came and went. Then the pendulum swung back harder than ever. Sometimes people need to feel the decline themselves before they remember what competence looks like. You need darkness to appreciate light. Pain to appreciate peace. Chaos to appreciate order. Happens time and time again. It’s cycles. New York City will come back. It always does. Don’t listen to blackpillers, to those that are chronically online, and to those that lack any type of travel, culture or knowledge. NYC is amazingly powerful and still is. It’s pumping. We just need one more conservative boost to save it. Who’s it gonna be GOP?

But really. This is overwhelming. I can’t imagine what that must feel like. 50k is no small number. And that’s from one city. I completely understand yoongi crying back then bc of how big bts was getting. This type of pressure could crush anyone if they didn’t have the right support system. And we have seen this happen with a lot of artists. Just collapsing under the pressures of their fame and global reach. It’s what’s makes bts stand out I think. It’s the way they’re constantly and acutely aware of their impact. Humility runs in their veins. And never once have they ever taken even 1% of this global level phenomenon for granted. It’s so easy to get swept up in this type of power. So easy. We’ve seen empires fall bc of something like this. But BTS are just built different. They surround themselves and each other with unwavering support. They don’t fall complacent. Don’t let fame dampen their passion. They’ve never lost sight of what’s important. Never taken advantage of the love their fans have to give them. It’s why they feel different. It’s why their success feels monumental. It’s why people will always want to replicate everything about who they are or where they came from and their story of how they reached the top. Bc they think bts cracked the “formula” towards success. But there is no formula. No “science” behind it. Just an unexplainable truth that there are certain things in this world that come around but once in a lifetime. BTS are one of those things. Their groundbreaking success has no secret. No shortcuts. I never thought I would ever say this, but I have truly lost all my confidence today. A part of me still believes in my work and knows the value of what I have built here over the past five years. At the same time, I just feel faded. The people I associated with closely haven't supported me, and the majority of my collector base has left the space. I still took it on the chin and continued to show up because I blindly believed in what I do and I know what it has done for me. I never had a Plan B. There was never a backup plan, and that is exactly why I even got here in the first place. I was good for nothing but art, and that is the reason I have always said that art saved my life. But lately, it feels like it is the very thing that is going to kill me. I really don't know how I feel about everything anymore. I just don't know. But I am not going anywhere. This is my home, so I still gonna continue to show up! I just needed to get this off my chest.
