Extending frames is neat, but calling it ‘great’ without showing real-world limits is hype. AI-generated content still struggles with consistency and artifacts.

Did you try ? The update has been available for several hours now, and I'm only posting now because I've had time to test it. I haven't noticed any loss of quality, but perhaps you have?

This is great. The issue I'm having is continuity between scenes. Is there a way to maintain it without the AI slightly altering things? Any tips would be helpful.

So here's a "real" 30 seconds where something actually happens and there's dialog. This is an idea I had back in June of last year when Imagine first came out. It's for a childrens series, characters in progress. So, don't steal my characters. :) In this case I started with a video. I didn't prompt the first dialog. Grok added that. What impressed me was that even though it took several tries, I finally did get a coherent 30 second video that had three important things. 1) Character consistency. If this holds it's huge. 2) Voice consistency. Again, huge. 3) Location consistency. Dido. Good pacing. and seamless cinematography. It felt like the same scene even though there are 3 clips. 720p Let's get Grok to 4k! So there's some real promise here. Now, the issue I have is that if I want to build outside of this video, I can't. Because when you start with a video there is no image to reference. So you have to use a frame and "hope" that you get the same characters. In this video, probably a seed of some kind, Grok nails the character in all 3 clips. I don't know what will happen if I grab a frame and keep going. I'll follow up and let you know.

I think it's interesting that you need not draw a character to animate for Grok. But the one thing I am noticing is that Grok uses the same character types that are only cosmetically differnt
