“Grok, pull over” was just the start. I’ve now added “Grok, turn right up ahead” and “Grok, turn left up ahead” to my setup. Here’s a demo of it in action!

So cool. For those wondering, Spencer is probably using the Tesla navigation API. His grok bot connector translates his requests into a safe destination up ahead. It reads the car’s current GPS location, determines a new “destination” based on the command and position, and transmits that to the car via API. Then the car just navigates to that spot. Clever hack and programming that uses existing Tesla APIs and Grok connectors. This is basically a time warp preview of what V15 will give us, only the V15 functionality will have far less lag.

broooo time to spill the beans on how youre doing this!

I’m curious how far you can take this lol

I could have used this as my car circled the new Tesla Center for 15 minutes this morning because the maps show a giant field where it stands. 😂

Bro what the hell, have you made a video on how to do this?

Why do you cancel it after the turn? Does it keep doing the same turn command if not?

The proof of concept I have right now will say it’s currently working on a turn until I cancel an existing one. I’m sure I can update it to work right away for another command.

@nishkidoonoo Your connectors make it chunky, but damn if this isn’t an amazing peak into what grok and FSD combined can be in the near future. This is awesome!

this is amazing - can you explain what it's doing behind the scenes? you are calculating + setting a point in the navigation that will make it turn?

Good video Spencer! Haven’t tried this capability so it’s nice knowing it is possible with current version. I’m assuming this only works without destination input, correct?

Thank you! It won’t work in your Tesla natively. Requires a special Grok connector to make it work. This is more of a proof of concept than anything else. Hopefully Tesla adds this functionality natively soon.

I see. Nice to see the “upcoming feature” being tested.

Shipped before @Tesla_AI Well done Spenc

damn. This is looking good

ㅎhow is this possible???? 🧐

Wow!! Glimpse into future of FSD beyond solving for autonomy

That would definitely be cool!

I want the built in version. Based on Elon time we should be getting that functionality any day now #WebTS26

So damn cool! I wonder how far this can go?

I’ve added the ability to say “Turn right/left in two blocks” I have a few other ideas expanding on this initial concept

Nice! Excited to see those in action!

It would be so easy to put this functionality natively in the car Imagine using an Xbox controller lol

Completely agree! This is just a fun proof of concept.

What’s going on? These are real interesting features though slow to respond. Future is amazing, entertaining, exciting. I wonder why people are still buying non teslas

If something goes wrong, I think you have to take the blame and not blame Tesla.

Why you have to cancel the turn after it’s completed?

One can also manipulate a hdw3 robot with a properly timed turn signal application

Zero turn signal manipulation here. In fact recent builds of v14 don’t seem to listen to the turn signal for anything but lane changes.

It’s definitely possible, I do it at least once a week while stress testing the system.

This is hopefully what future integration between Grok and FSD will look like. Thanks for sharing. Would love to see if you can tell it to stay in the current lane on the highway.

Too slow for normal use

Woah this is really cool Spencer!! How did you get Grok to listen to your turn commands?!?

👏🏻

Nice work!! 👍💯👌

You raised the bar for @Tesla_AI team for next release We will not be happy with anything less then this 😀

imagine a localized grok making decisions

can you command grok to pass a car on the freeway and then switch back to the lane and set a cruising speed limit?

Missed this one, awesome though! Are the turn commands triggering via the nav API or something else?

I think this „function“ won’t last long

wait wtf have i missed??

Which connector? Anyone with Grok Bot (and Tesla) can do this??

That's really cool man. Was waiting for someone to do this 🤣

😎
