Gromit's voice has been revealed.

Giving Gromit a voice after 30+ years of legendary silent side-eye is a criminal offense.

Gromit’s actual voice was the silence. This is just a man narrating over it.

Top tier voice acting you can tell he went all out on the role

Martin Freeman really just phoning it in and using his regular everyday normal voice. Would have been much better to get a specialist voice actor who would have given real life to the role

The most Gromit thing he could do is refuse to record it and send a raised eyebrow instead.

you're being surprisingly normal about this discussingfilm

When Discussing didn’t break character for this?

Gromit spent decades saying everything without a word. Silence was the punchline.

Bro stayed silent for decades and now we finally get to hear his side of the story 🫥🫥🐶

IS THAT MARTIN FREEMAN

Ohhhh it fits so well

@OOCCouchGags More like Gromit got Martin Freeman to narrate his book for him lol

Gromit’s actual voice was the silence. This is just a man narrating over it

Are you happy mr film

Revealed: it’s just Martin Freeman reading a book while occasionally looking unimpressed.

37 years of perfect silence and the big reveal is Tim from The fvcking Office.

#notmygromit

wait theres actually audio of him saying it? i thought that was just the running joke forever

@OOCCouchGags Oh ok..

WAIT, GROMIT IS FINALLY SPEAKING?! 😭😭 I need to hear this immediately.

Can’t wait to hear him say absolutely nothing in a Northern accent tho

I feel you are not enthusiast

Giving the most expressive eyebrows in British animation history an actual voice track feels like a direct downgrade.

giving gromit a voice is like letting the cat out of the bag—once it’s done, you can’t shove it back in. legends don’t need commentary.

thought this was voiced by @florapattinson

Gromit was better when he said nothing

Maybe they shouldn't have gone 'rounin 'roun to re ro.

How we feeling? @DiscussingFilm
