On the occasion of Children’s Day, here’s a little video of us astronauts letting our inner bachchas loose aboard the space station. When we first arrived here, every moment was packed tighter than a Mumbai local at rush hour — systems to check, experiments to run, endless procedures. By the end of the day, I’d barely close my eyes before drifting off faster than a PSLV launch. And yet, amidst all that seriousness, we found moments to simply play. To float around, laugh, and rediscover that curious child we all once were. Ping Pong itself is fun but human ping pong in microgravity - that is something else. As a father to a 6-year-old, I’m constantly amazed at how effortlessly children can turn even the most mundane thing into an adventure — a cardboard box becomes a spaceship, a spoon becomes a sword. Somewhere between growing up and paying EMIs, we adults forget how to keep that magic alive. So this Children’s Day, I just want to say: work hard, chase your purpose, aim for the stars — but don’t forget to enjoy the ride. Keep that spark of wonder glowing, because life (and even space) is a lot more fun when you remember how to just kid around. I am playing SEED a lot, the new MMO that mixes elements from The Sims, ECO, Rimworld and other games. Our society reached the city stage and we elected our Mayor. We voted on the first policies and are expanding. Soon we will start building roads, subways, and it will all look less messy and way better. My Pub business is growing, i built a second floor with an elevator (still got to furnish it), offering food, drinks and comfort with an entry fee. I hired my second seedling (each player can have a few) to cook, clean etc. We have medical centers with doctors, delivery companies and all kind of businesses, a spaceport to trade with the other societies. In the next stage the city will become a Metropolis with taller buildings (the last tier can have skyscrapers with dozens of floors), decorated with neon signs and all kind of stuff, all player driven. The game even has an integrated social network and seedlings interact, become friends, rivals etc. If a society doesnt like the government they can vote out the leaders, and a lot can happen. Societies are actually in the same world, you can walk and see the other ones. This game is not perfect but it has sooo much of what i like, it's crazy deep. There are bugs now, hopefully the devs (who seem very active) will fix them and add more QoL quickly
