“Muh billionaires”

There is no ‘growth’ anyway in the UK. But I’m sure £200bn a year is wasted in govt. spending, so how about we cut that first

Supercharge your business by boosting revenue, minimizing customer churn, and attracting more qualified leads—let's make growth a fun adventure together.

@DeuxKes New Labour for the rentiers, not the renters

Why are you wearing a hat in your house 🤔

Idk if you run this account but you want to speak to someone from Acorn. I think they might be a decent vehicle that’s ready to scale up into a centre to help people organise.

Yet again succinct and unequivocal. Sadly people don’t, won’t, can’t believe that the wealthy would do this to them. And yet all they need to do is reflect on Victorian Britain and they will see how it was then and can/will be again. Read Disraeli’s book Sybil.

How did Growth become the ulitmate goal of economics/society? Surely happiness is the goal. And if you say you can't measure that then at least measure poverty levels or something. Growth, in and of itself, has no utility. In fact that's what cancer is - unchecked growth.

This is one of your worst takes yet. Every element of their idea for Growth, if followed through will quite literally improve living standards and reduce inequality

Very good vid
