The issue with Karen Read's expert is he went against the Cardinal rule for experts! Instead of doing his own work and seeing what his conclusions would be, he merely looked at the CW's reports and relied on their work and calculations. Experts do their own experiments and calculations and reach their own conclusions. They don't rely on the work of the opposing expert. They aren't in the business of debunking a theory without doing their own work. Also, it seems clear he had never done this type of work: comparing timing car data with cell timing data. Nice fellow and well-accomplished, just not in his lane. The defense didn't want to pay to have this work done right. Cutting corners is never a good plan. P.S. I've seen this clip going viral hammering Jacob Monk. But I actually think there's a *chance* this is on Chris Brooks? Looks like a four-man slide with Tom on an island on the right. If that's the case, then Brooks slides to pick up B gap pressure. Either that, or this was Monk messing up a 3-man slide to the left (believe Jordan Love calls this "cali jelly") and Monk slid the wrong way. But even then, Brooks should be filling in back side to the B gap?

I’m late to this, but I see both sides of the coin here. On one, of course Kyle Fletcher’s gonna be bummed by getting screwed out of his big stadium moment in front of his family while his anxiety levels were at an all-time high. On the other, I wish he included more context as to why that happened and what happened to Adam Cole, as well as the fact that he may never wrestle again and how that was announced on the day of All In, because it makes complete sense as to why that happened when you take everything into account. Also, I can’t believe I’m saying this again but please walk with me on this one: ADAM. COLE. DID. NOT. GET. HURT. ON. THAT. FUCKING. POWERBOMB. YOU. IMBECILES. For those that didn’t know… Coming out of high school…. Parker was one of the top players coming out of high school. A switch hitting middle infielder with pop. Following his accident, he focused on only hitting from the right side, and completely changed his style of swinging… The hands are still there… The HEART has only grown stronger Here is a video of him when he first got out of the hospital…. He went to the freaking cages to work on seeing the ball from the right side We’re not all built like him. Yes he is human….. but every step seems Super Human to me Keep growing baby! 🤟🏴‍☠️

Ortiz posted an ERA of 2.73, an average against of just .207, and had 72 Ks in 59.1 innings. And ALL of that is great. And, while the "execution" piece is still THE focus, keep in mind, he, in essence, hadn't pitched since 2021, due to Tommy John. Ortiz was a HIGHLY thought of prospect back in 2021, before his Tommy John, and came back to start 2024, but was shut down after just 6 outings and 11 innings in May of 2024. So, for him to be able to post 59.1 innings and have 48 appearances was HUGE in terms of showing that he's BACK. Then, to have the success on top of that, after such a long layoff, just goes to show how good his stuff is. Ortiz features a HUGE sweeping slider that starts well behind the back of a left-hander, and breaks from one side of the earth to the other. Trying to decipher whether that pitch is going to land "in the zone" or not is VERY difficult, even for hitters that have a LOT of MLB experience like he faced at OKC. His fastball is firm, and he can hit 6s and 7s, so those 2 pitches play well off of each other. Welcome aboard, Robinson. It's been a LONG road, one you've navigated successfully. What’s done is done. So I got back to work this morning. December 2020 sarcoma cancer took my left leg above the knee. I cried for one day and then I worked my ass off to walk again. I found out Monday there is a real possibility sarcoma cancer will now take a large portion of my right leg. I cried for a few minutes and now it’s time to build strength in my upper body. We can focus on what we lost or choose to focus on what we can gain. I chose the latter. Every step is a finish line. Team Never Quit

🚨BREAKING: A man was just filmed going limp… after multiple ICE agents pinned him face down, in Burlingame, California. ICE agents were seen piled on top of a man, while he was face down on the ground… with multiple agents putting their full weight on top of him. Moments later, they roll him over, you see his body completely limp, and he appears to be unconscious. Think about how far that had to go for his body to shut down like that. Think about how much pressure, how long, how intense it had to be… for someone to go unconscious. Because that’s not “routine,” or “standard.” At least 17 states have already passed laws banning, or severely restricting, chokeholds, and neck restraints, by law enforcement. Why? Because this is how people die. Because once someone is face down… with weight on their back… oxygen gets cut off. We’ve seen this before, and yet, here we are again… Watching a body go limp on camera. And the only reason this isn’t being explained away by DHS… is because he woke back up. If he hadn’t… What would they have said happened?
