Caught my daughter in the rearview mirror"rolling her eyes" at me, in front of her younger brothers. I told her "Do it again, and you're walking" She did ..I did! Tossed her skinny ass our of the car...drove out of her field of vision and tailed her as she walked 4 miles home. She got 2 sore feet, I ensured her safety while ENFORCING my word and authority!

That's a spoiled brat and the officer taking the daughters side is the even bigger problem. The mom can say what she wants. The daughter tried to jump out while the mom was driving and the cop didn't tell the daughter to not do that because it's dangerous... Instead, he lectures the mom about phone calls... It is not within the police officers job description to settle a family argument. It sounds like the teen is acting like an entitled infant and the mother's tired of it. Kids are allowed to walk to school and a cop needs to stay out of it. If he wants to help her get to school then he can help her but I don't see why the parent should be arrested. When there are arguments in family you just need to separate sometimes until it cools down. You can't tell an entire family history from just a few minutes of talking so he needs to not assume anything.

She can make her child walk to school if she wants... I would make my kid if they were acting out.
