@SkyNews @gonuj93 I would love to see The Guardian/Observer in less progressive hands. They need to ditch ‘narrative’ for truth. We all want a decent left leaning paper of serious journalism. New Statesman has been impressing me recently with some excellent non-partisan pieces/quality journalism.

@SkyNews @gonuj93 I think it may be because the Observer did not follow the extreme Guardian line on trans .... It was very refreshing to see a different side on a Sunday but as it shares the same online web address, it interrupted the "echo chamber", which perhaps was not wanted.

@SkyNews @gonuj93 Well argued Sonia about the 10 million hits currently for The Observer that will fall to tens of thousands behind a pay wall if The Observer is sold off. Selling off the Sunday Observer will diminish The Guardian too. I love both these papers.

@SkyNews @gonuj93 Genuine Q: When a journalist goes on strike what a happens? Do you write the piece tomorrow & file a day late. Or is there just no copy this week? Or does Guardian use a freelancer? Media isn’t a linear process like, say, a car assembly line so wondering how a strike works
