I’ve never understood why conservatives are so up-in-arms abt the @CBC & want it defunded? I mean, it was the network that gave us Mr. Dressup! It’s given Canadians so much educational content abt Canada 🇨🇦! So what if it’s inclusive, has diversity, & shows our multiculturalism⁉️

I support the CBC. For its news arm, I do want it (and any News organization in Canada) to be as fact based and non-opinionated as possible. Watching the decline of USA news orgs into “news as entertainment” is disturbing.

We need the CBC. they ought to represent both sides of any topic fairly but they lean left in a big way and that is wrong. They do less journalism and more parroting of official narratives than anything, is generous liberal funding to blame? If so what then?
