One of the best parts of the work In The (D3FB) Huddle & I do for #d3fb is getting to meet new teams -- especially the players -- who we talk about all the time on our show. During our Pregame Show Thursday, UW-La Crosse Football players recognized me eventually and obviously had read "Quick Hits" on D3football.com (knowing that I picked against UWL in the game). As you could expect, this didn't set well with the UWL players, so they razzed me all pregame, during-game, and postgame about the pick & the score. However, it was all in great fun, and JB & I know how to laugh it off with the players. Below, you'll see a part of our Pregame Show where the UWL players took the field -- and let me have it as they were behind us -- and a part of our Postgame Show where during our @UWLCoachJanus interview, Nate Wilcher gave me one last blast from off camera. We brought him on our set and had a great impromptu moment with him. Again, all in great fun. UWL has a great team -- my pick deserved to be panned by them early & often. But more importantly, the team was respectful & appreciative of the work we do to promote them. That made all of our work yesterday a pure pleasure. We look forward to making the trek to Wisconsin someday -- or perhaps see them in Texas in January -- to continue to build this friendship. Chris Weidman deserves his contracted UFC 309 ‘show’ money after Eryk Anders had to pull out just hours before their fight. “My show money is my win money. I have guaranteed money. So that was my point—like, I showed up, you guys had that on the budget sheet to begin with, you guys had a great night, why do you guys get to keep that money and I don’t? That was my thought. Their thoughts were, ‘Listen, this happens on like 40% of the cards, and if we paid people to not fight…’ They just want to be consistent on what they do in those situations.” First off, the UFC doesn’t deal with anywhere near 40% of fighters falling off the card on the actual day of the fight, especially where there’s no opportunity for a replacement fighter to step in. Chris Weidman did everything he was supposed to do for UFC 309 right up to the start of the fight card. He successfully made weight, attended all media obligations, and was ready to fight on Saturday night. His opponent, Eryk Anders, fell ill with food poisoning—which happens—and had to be removed from the card the day of the fight. The UFC was not able to replace Anders with a last-second opponent. None of this was Weidman’s fault or within his control. Weidman is on a fully guaranteed contract, not a “show/win” type of deal. The UFC had a very successful night, as evidenced by their announcement of a top 5 biggest gate in UFC history. The money that was supposed to be paid to Weidman was clearly already allocated. The tickets were sold, and Weidman’s family and friends—many of whom traveled to New York—were all in attendance, ready to watch him fight. Yes, the UFC rebooked Weidman for UFC 310 on December 7th, but that should have no bearing on them paying his full guaranteed “show” money for UFC 309. Weidman briefly compared his situation to that of his brother-in-law, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson, whose fight with Michel Pereira fell through in 2023 after Pereira missed weight by three pounds. Wonderboy declined to accept the fight. However, there is really no comparison between Wonderboy’s situation and Weidman’s. Weidman had no option to fight at UFC 309 after Anders pulled out on the day of the scheduled bout. The UFC is worth over $12 billion. Surely, they can afford to pay fighters their show money in the extremely rare occasion when an opponent falls off the card on the very day of the fight. Chris Weidman deserves his contracted UFC 309 ‘show’ money after Eryk Anders had to pull out just hours before their fight. “My show money is my win money. I have guaranteed money. So that was my point—like, I showed up, you guys had that on the budget sheet to begin with, you guys had a great night, why do you guys get to keep that money and I don’t? That was my thought. Their thoughts were, ‘Listen, this happens on like 40% of the cards, and if we paid people to not fight…’ They just want to be consistent on what they do in those situations.” First off, the UFC doesn’t deal with anywhere near 40% of fighters falling off the card on the actual day of the fight, especially where there’s no opportunity for a replacement fighter to step in. Chris Weidman did everything he was supposed to do for UFC 309 right up to the start of the fight card. He successfully made weight, attended all media obligations, and was ready to fight on Saturday night. His opponent, Eryk Anders, fell ill with food poisoning—which happens—and had to be removed from the card the day of the fight. The UFC was not able to replace Anders with a last-second opponent. None of this was Weidman’s fault or within his control. Weidman is on a fully guaranteed contract, not a “show/win” type of deal. The UFC had a very successful night, as evidenced by their announcement of a top 5 biggest gate in UFC history. The money that was supposed to be paid to Weidman was clearly already allocated. The tickets were sold, and Weidman’s family and friends—many of whom traveled to New York—were all in attendance, ready to watch him fight. Yes, the UFC rebooked Weidman for UFC 310 on December 7th, but that should have no bearing on them paying his full guaranteed “show” money for UFC 309. Weidman briefly compared his situation to that of his brother-in-law, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson, whose fight with Michel Pereira fell through in 2023 after Pereira missed weight by three pounds. Wonderboy declined to accept the fight. However, there is really no comparison between Wonderboy’s situation and Weidman’s. Weidman had no option to fight at UFC 309 after Anders pulled out on the day of the scheduled bout. The UFC is worth over $12 billion. Surely, they can afford to pay fighters their show money in the extremely rare occasion when an opponent falls off the card on the very day of the fight. This has been an incredible long weekend in Glasgow. I have again enjoyed the hospitality, passion for football, the respect for all things Spanish and the general bonhomie of the town and its people. This is one of my favourite places in the world! Accompanied by my friend Neil Manship we discovered more about what pushes Glasgow forward by going on a tour of murals of the city (with Walking Tours in Scotland). The wildlife one in the Ingram street car park is mind blowing. The Falling in Love one by Rebel Bear is just beautiful The first seat down dinner was at the beautiful La Lanterna with friends Dom and Gitte O’Riley, and we were looked after by the smart manager Chris. We had a lovely drink to finish the Friday in cool pub where Lauren and Hardy first performed in Glasgow, The Scotia (Scotia Bar). Great chat with some new friends there! Then, of course, the Glasgow derby. The game started with electric noise from the stands. It is difficult to find anything like it, but it is strange that when the rival scored (in a key moment, just before half time) no noise was made. I am glad they are returning next season. Even though Celtic played against ten for the second half, they did not control matters, despite the effort from Matt O’Riley who was superb despite missing the penalty. The crowd wanted direct action when the game required calm heads, but very difficult to find then in such atmosphere. We were made feel absolutely at home, lovely chats with people in and out of stadium. Just a superb game experience. Then Malaga Tapas, run by the so welcoming jamie francis josef and his beautiful family. What a great selection of tapas and wine we were given. Totally recommended Spanish restaurant, I hear the best one in Glasgow and I am not surprised. Lovely food and chat. I was looking for a music venue (I visited a couple on Thursday night) but A Pint & Two Shots Podcast podcast got in touch and invited me to their first live show. And what an evening it was. Ok, ok, I hardly understood what they were saying but I laughed the whole show! Their laugh and brilliant attitude is contagious! I was invited to go on stage and it was one of the most unbelievable feelings of my life. In front of 1500 people I sensed their respect, love after years of filling their heads with stories. You all made me feel so loved! Thank you so much for the opportunity to share time with you and for the embrace! In the backstage we took a very dark photo and had the chance to congratulate the Scottish Player of the year, Lawrence Shankland Before heading back home, I was invited to sign books at Waterstones Silverbur Waterstones Silverburn, which they tell me is the second biggest sellers of my Messi book in the UK, and have also Ronaldo books, plus the others! I have an idea to return. Create a show that will give people of Glasgow a good evening and that way raise funds for Biggleswade United. I will keep you posted! This was one very special weekend. You mentioned in the affidavit that Wazirx is in talks with 11 exchanges & trading businesses. In the affidavit you mentioned that total user funds on the day of the hack were approximately $570 million & hacked crypto was worth $234 Million. If we go by these numbers, means 41% of crypto was hacked, which you guys also mentioned in the hack report which was later changed to 45%. Can you clarify on this? Q3. You recently changed the total crypto holding number on the day of the hack from $570 Million to $546 Million in the affidavit, you guys mentioned that it was a mistake. Can you please clarify more on this? Also, How can you include INR for Zattai, it is only supposed to manage crypto, for INR Zanmai is the one that manages it. Q4.
