Guillermo del Toro on Thomas Vinterberg's "Another Round" (2020): "It’s extraordinary to see a movie that moves you, that affects you, the way this one did to me. I wanted to say something: The title in Danish [‘Druk’], and the title in English, both are very, very beautiful. In...

Abbas Araghchi, Iranian foreign minister, after the fifth round of Iran-US talks: - The fifth round of negotiations were held today in Rome. I can say it was one of the most professional rounds of negotiations that we have had so far. - We one more time stated the Islamic Republic of Iran's positions and principles with respect to the negotiations. Our stances are completely clear and we stand steadfast on them. - I think that now there is a better and more clear understanding of our stances on the American side. - Mr. Busaidi, the respected foreign minister of Oman, tried in this round to present solutions that the existing obstacles can be solved and it is possible to move forward. We discussed different ideas. He had different ideas. - It was decided that more technical work will be done on these ideas by both sides. They will be transmitted to the capitals. Without any obligations on either side. - We will study and analyze these new proposals that can probably open the way - while keeping the principles and stances of the Islamic Republic of Iran. - It was decided that both sides will bring forward their ideas about these proposals and solutions and then the next round of negotiations will be arranged and take place. - I hope that in the next round, if these solutions are accepted by both sides in their capitals we can enter the details. [Reporter: So can we say the file of the indirect negotiations is still open and talks will continue and questions will be answered until we see what the wills say?] - Yes. Look the negotiations are more complicated than can be solved in 2 or 3 sessions. The fact that we are right now on a rational path is in my opinion progress. - I hope that in the next one or two sessions, given the better understanding of the Islamic Republic of Iran's stances that now exist, we can reach solutions that can bring about progress in the talks. We are not at that stage yet, but I am not without hope. - I believe today in particular, given the discussions that happened, the solutions that were brought forward by Oman to overcome the obstacles, the possibility of progress exists.

New Turning Point video shows exactly why Charlie Kirk was the greatest CEO in the history of grassroots political organizations. Take just two minutes to watch this. These are the words of a transformational leader: “Well, you [Turning Point staff] are about to embark on something that is much bigger than yourself. So check your ego at the door. This is not about you, okay? I don’t care about your feelings. If you’re having a bad day, you know, go figure that out yourself. This is about us. This is about the country. And the eyes of the whole nation are, again, on Turning Point. “We do the best events in the movement. In fact, we do the only event. Are there any other events in the movement? No. We’ve kind of put everyone else out of business, right? So we are the only standard of excellence. And so we hold ourselves to a higher standard. We don’t do mediocre around here. We try to raise the level of excellence because we are constantly trying to push the conservative movement and the country to a place it’s never been before. “You guys know this. Turning Point USA is the most important organization in the country, period. Find me another organization that’s been able to move millions of people the way that we have, that does the events, that does training. Nobody does what we do at Turning Point USA, but it starts with all of you. We’re building something bigger than you, bigger than me. “We’re building an experience to help save the country. And if this type of intensity bothers you, well, then, don’t go work for Turning Point USA. You can go work for the Department of Labor or something, okay? Because here we do excellent things. We do big things. We make history here at Turning Point USA. “It’s going to be early mornings. It’s going to be late nights, but you all get to know that you’re doing something rewarding that is not just, oh, a career. And you check the box, but lives will be changed. How blessed are we that we get to be here celebrating the country. And this is our job. It’s pretty awesome. “There’s the one thing that I hear from speakers throughout all the years. Your team is so impressive and they’re so young. Why is it everybody? Because for us, we hold ourselves to a higher standard. This is not just another DC gig. This is about saving Western civilization. “We are the most important organization in the country. You are part of it. It’s something bigger than all of us, and it will have ramifications across the country. I’m so thankful for you guys. You guys have really defied gravity. And let’s continue to make history here.”

"You can either produce excellence or you can avoid criticism. But you cannot do both of those. The reason that you don't have certain excellence that you want is because you are afraid of getting criticized. You are afraid of the judgment that comes with it. You are afraid of standing out. You are afraid of being alone. You are afraid of people looking at you. You are worried about what people think of you. There are 2 categories of things in this world: 1) Things that are up to you 2) Things that are not up to you Which category does your reputation sit in? Your reputation is not up to you. I'm the one who associates your reputation with something, not you. You just do things. What's up to you? How you act. Your decisions. Your actions. That is up to you. Your reputation is not up to you. Here's how I know that: You all have a reputation about me and it's not in my control. I get to say and do whatever I say and do up here. I am in control of saying it. I am in control of doing it. The moment words leave my lips, who has control over what is done with those words? You! You are in control of what you think of me. And there's no way everybody in this room is going to think the exact same thing about me. No way. When it comes to exceptional, what we've got to understand is you can spend your whole life trying to avoid criticism and earn reputation, and it still won't be in your control. We can waste a lot of time missing out on excellence we could have been producing if we were just simply LESS trying to engineer what we wanted other people to think about us."
