doesn't it have an automatic mode? I like this kind of thinking. an old gun that packs a mighty punch. but lets just make it automatic "JUST" in the off chance you need to put that many rounds out as fast as you can.

should've probably specified you meant stripper clips in the first half of that comparison. Because an En-Bloc isn't exactly rare, e.g used in M95 Mannlicher, Carcano, Berthiers. Kinda rare by the time of the M1 and it's is pretty unique but still
