This is the moment Gus stopped being just ambitious and started becoming a man fueled by revenge.

The saddest part is Jesse genuinely believed he was protecting Brock while being manipulated the entire time.

That’s what makes Jesse’s situation so painful he truly thought he was doing the right thing.

@EddyFisher240 This scene hits differently once you get to know what Gus becomes. Of all Gus didn’t forget Max.

@EddyFisher240 Exactly, Max’s death stayed with Gus for years, and everything he built eventually became part of that revenge.

The full story of NASA's Apollo 1 and Gus Grissom, the man who was originally planned to be the first human to "walk on the moon" In short, Grissom and the Apollo 1 crew were not getting with the program NASA had planned... They—especially Grissom—were highly critical of NASA and the Space Program, constantly pushing concerns up the chain of command, warning about major equipment failures, safety issues, and overall exposing that there was zero chance the rocket & Lunar Lander NASA was building would be able to fly through space and land on the moon. But nothing was ever fixed because NASA already knew they weren't actually going to the moon...the astronauts had yet to be told the mission was going to be staged. Frustrated, Gus held an unauthorized press conference exposing the shortcomings and failures of the Apollo Program. You can imagine how Pentagon generals reacted seeing their top astronaut tell the entire world-their rocket was a lemon (worthless) 🍋 Five days later, Gus and his crew were burned alive during a so-called "test"... Crazy enough, in 1967 alone, seven astronauts died in a series of "coincidental" & tragic accidents. In fact, another death from Apollo 1 was Thomas Baron, a safety inspector during its construction. After the fire, he testified before Congress that the Apollo program was in such disarray the US would never make it to the moon. And he said those statements made him a target. Baron had submitted a 500-page report on his findings and was on the verge of shutting down the entire program. But just a week later, his car was struck by a train, killing him, his wife, and stepdaughter instantly. The Grissom family had fought tirelessly trying to get answers on his death, and to this day they believe it was no accident, but an intentional hit to silence him before he could expose the NASA "space travel" fraud to the world. It doesn't take a genius to realize these men didn't die in the name of "technological advancement" like we were sold. They were silenced to stop a truth powerful enough to awaken humanity from its hypnosis. h/t Electric

Don Lemon, after learning of a possible DOJ investigation, attempts to spin the story as if he wasn’t aware of the anti-ICE extremist group’s operational plans to storm the church: "I didn't even know they were going to this church until we followed them there. We were there chronicling protests. Once the protest started in the church, we did an act of journalism." Unfortunately for Don, this revisionist version of events doesn’t hold up. In the short clip at right, you can see that Don documented the entire final planning of the operation in a parking lot with the group. He arrived at the parking lot location to meet the group clearly with the purpose of filming the entire operation. He is careful to turn his camera away so as not to disclose critical details that were being discussed right in front of him. Don reveals details of the plan that he already knows, including that “white allies” are needed: “There's a reason they have so many white people here. I'm just going to be honest. It's because of the operation that they're doing today. It's important to have white allies here." So Don admits he knows why white people were wanted for this operation — because he knew exactly what the operation was. He then divulges that he was “allowed" by the group to document their ‘protest’ activity for the day, known as “Operation Pull Up." “Thank you for allowing me to be here." Don then kisses the leader of the group, Nekima Levy Armstrong, thanks her, and gleefully sets her up to tease the operation. Bottom line: Don was an activist participant in the operation to storm a church, which disrupted its worship services and traumatized children. He was part of the coordination, and knew exactly what the group intended to do and how they would do it. He chose to participate because he was eager to get clicks and views by glorifying the extremist action — before pathetically attempting spin it all as: “An act of journalism!”

Around 28 years ago, Ahmad Shah Massoud clearly predicted what would happen to his companions who chased the worldly life, everything he said has come true subhanallah. Here is the excerpt of his speech: Let us turn back to God, let us refer back to God, from young to old, let us seek forgiveness from the almighty for our sins. In reality, the mujahideen are not responsible for the problems we face here in Panjshir, it all started with our elders. The elders are constantly thinking about buying houses, buying cars, they are thinking about obtaining money through corruption, their heads are naked (no turban or pakol), their attire is turning in to suits and ties, everyday you see them go past and their beard is getting shorter, the poor guy is suffering, constantly trying to find excuses to shave his beard, first he grew his beard to blend with the Mujahideen, now he doesn’t want to be exposed as a hypocrite and constantly trying to find excuses to shave it all. Did you see how God humiliated them and put them to shame? Fast forward 28 years later, his prediction: What happened to that house? What happened to that property? What happened to that car? Now they are so embarrassed that they can’t even face the people. That day when he talked with arrogance and pride about his car, I reminded him a hundred times, a thousand times, to stop this corruption, to ask for forgiveness and don’t do it again, no! He said this is part of being a leader. What happened to your leadership? What happened to your government? What happened to your trade and business? You have harmed yourself in this life and the next life. With the crimes committed by them, they are surely humiliated in the sight of God, and they will surely face the same shame and humiliation in this life. The other day, I jokingly threatened them, I told them that if the Taliban agree to negotiations and ceasefire, I will hand you over to the Taliban to be hanged like Najib. A win win, we can finally be free from you, because we are in this calamity because of your corruption.

She packed out today and left him. 💔💔 Igbo women are one of the most wicked, terrible, and money-hungry women ever made by God, and this is a situation very close to home. 💔 This man brought his wife from the village when they were both young, and he sold his business and wares just to open a big pepper soup joint for both of them to maintain. Then this woman started sidelining him. His business was functioning, but it wasn’t doing as well as before, according to the story my mom told me. He made sure his wife had everything, and she grew up on him. He left some boys to watch over his business so he could help his wife’s business grow. Those boys sabotaged his business and stole all the money, so he had to close it down and fully focus on the business he built for his wife. The wife started complaining and told him not to come to the shop again because his presence drove customers away from her shop. She started showing him different shades of wickedness because he no longer brought money home and no longer had a business. She was the one paying the bills in the house for a while, and today she packed out of the house when she knew the rent would expire soon and the man had no means of surviving. 💔💔 This woman looked this man dead in the eyes this morning and said, “What have you done for me? Am I not the one who has been taking care of the bills and feeding you all these years?” It was the neighbors who started shouting and reminding her that, “This is the same man who brought you from the village when you looked like a tadpole, and he changed your life so much.” I just pray and hope he doesn’t commit su!c!de or po!son himself.

Steve Jobs on why the Beatles were his business model: In a 60 Minutes interview, Steve Jobs is asked about his approach to business. His answer? The Beatles. "My model of business is the Beatles. They were four very talented guys, four guys who kept each other's negative tendencies in check. They balanced each other and the sum was greater. The total was greater than the sum of the parts." Steve explains that this is how he sees business: "Great things in business are never done by one person; they're done by a team of people." He points to what happened when the Beatles split up as evidence: "When the Beatles were together, they did truly brilliant, innovative work. And when they split up, they did good work, but it was never the same. And I see business that way, too. It's really always a team." When asked about his biggest strength as a person, Steve's answer reinforces this team-first philosophy: "I've been very lucky in meeting incredibly talented people and hanging out with them. And so that's been my greatest strength." But Steve also warns about what can undermine great teams — arrogance: "All of us need to be on guard against arrogance which knocks at the door whenever you're successful." When asked if he'd lived through that himself, Steve acknowledges he had. The interviewer points to Apple's initial success and the sobering reality of competitors catching up. Steve goes further: "As you may know, I was basically fired from Apple when I was 30 and was invited to come back 12 years later. So that was difficult when it happened, but maybe the best thing that ever happened to me. There wouldn't be a Pixar if that hadn't happened. And so you know, you just move on. Life goes on and you learn from it." Asked if returning to Apple at 42 felt like sweet vindication, Steve's response reveals his broader outlook: "No. I thought at that moment what a circle of life. Life is just always mysterious and surprising and you never know what's around the next corner."

People seem to be very confused about my dynamic with my husband Don and my boyfriend Brian. I think it’s important to explain this and make people realize it’s okay to have complicated relationships when life gets tough. I met Don in 2009 and married him in 2015. He had a stroke in 2019 and I became his full time caregiver. In 2022 I realized life was too short so I made the tough decision to find myself again and make myself happy. Thats when I moved Don into a facility so the professionals could take over. I will admit I was a better caregiver but I can’t do the work of an entire team of people. Unless you have been in my shoes and been a caregiver for your spouse, you wouldn’t understand. It was so overwhelming, I quit my job of eight years to care for him. I wanted to care for him. But stress turned to anxiety and depression and into panic attacks. Caregiver burnout is real and has even been shown to decrease your life expectancy. You are caring for your loved one but you are mourning their loss… even though they are still there. Now I’m mourning him again as he physically passes away! I met Brian and he became my boyfriend. He came into my life at a very emotional time. It also happened to be during a category 5 hurricane. Things happen for a reason so I do want to thank Hurricane Ian for bringing Brian into my life. I still am married to Don but Brian helps support me emotionally in ways Don used to but can’t anymore. I can go home to Brian and get a hug after sitting in the ICU all day with Don. Brian helped me be Don’s court appointed guardian. He helped me have difficult conversations with lawyers. But most of all he stuck around and supported me. People made smart ass comments about us looking happy on thanksgivings. But the photo doesn’t show the phone call that interrupted dinner about Don being an organ donor. The photo doesn’t show me shedding tears in the restaurant parking lot as everyone inside is laughing and enjoying their time with family. It’s a blessing to have the support Brian offers. Don would have been okay with it. He wanted me to be happy. I didn’t just leave Don the second he started dying. This has been a long and very emotional process. I don’t post a video every time I am crying or upset with myself. To literally quote the words Don has sang to me himself many times over the years: “If you're reading this There’s going to come a day When you'll move on And find someone else And that's OK Just remember this I'm in a better place Where soldiers live in peace And angels sing amazing grace” He always sang songs that spoke to him. He didn’t sing them to just sing. Him singing, even 16 years ago gives me peace and closure that I wouldn’t have thought would be possible. ❤️❤️❤️

Must-read: Cindy Cherry, Don Cherry’s late daughter, tells all in new book about her father and his cancellation Cindy writes that after 38 years of compelling television, her father was cancelled simply for saying “you people love our milk and honey” and the “least you could do” is buy a poppy on Remembrance Day. Hard to believe it’s been more than five years since the most highly viewed segment on Canadian TV was abruptly cancelled and its star maliciously thrown under the bus. All for no valid reason, well, other than cowardly corporate suits bending the knee to a tiny woke mob of leftwing zealots. We speak of Don Cherry, the coach in Coach’s Corner. Whether you loved or loathed Grapes, Coach’s Corner was must-see TV. Again, you either loved Don for his unvarnished honesty and frankness, which is an endangered species in the world of sports broadcasting today. Or you loved to hate Don Cherry, as you would love to hate an entertaining villain cutting promos in the bizarre biosphere that is professional wrestling. The point is, millions of Canadians would tune into Hockey Night in Canada every Saturday night at approximately 7:50 p.m. E.S.T. Coach’s Corner was many things to many people. But it was never, ever boring. We make mention of the cancellation of this cherished slice of Canadian culture thanks to the recent release of a new book entitled, The Don Cherry Story by His Daughter, Cindy Cherry. Cindy Cherry doesn’t waste any time cutting to the chase. Thus, she begins the story at the end of the story. Namely, when her father’s tenure on network TV came to an abrupt and shocking end on November 9, 2019. That first chapter is entitled “Poppygate” – which is a fitting term given that what happened to Don Cherry was indeed scandalous. Cindy writes that after 38 years of compelling television, her father was cancelled simply for saying “you people love our milk and honey” and the “least you could do” is buy a poppy on Remembrance Day. We have viewed that excerpt over and over and over again. We have analyzed Don’s words for any alleged racism or bigotry or xenophobia. And we come up empty every single time. Indeed, Don Cherry was simply speaking the truth. You know it, we know it, everybody knows it. He was bemoaning that not enough people in Canada honour the war dead and our veterans come November 11. This is not conjecture; it’s the indisputable truth. Indeed, on Remembrance Day 2019, the day Don was officially fired by the way, we visited Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown Toronto at 10 a.m. to observe how many people were wearing poppies. In other words, there we were at this busy intersection just 60 minutes before the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. And we can tell you that less than 5% — yes, less than 5% — of passersby were wearing poppies that day. It was disgraceful, disgusting, and disrespectful. Oh no… was that a little harsh? Is Team Cancel Culture going to come for us now? Yet, the fact that Don Cherry was cancelled for speaking the truth makes for more proof in the pudding that freedom of speech is on thin ice in Canada these days. Due to political correctness, or its new name, “wokeness”, one is forbidden to speak the truth IF the truth hurts. That’s not freedom of speech — that’s censorship. Indeed, Don’s words somehow hurt the feelings of the uber-intolerant left. Or more accurately, these wokesters pretended to suffer from hurt feelings. Finally, these Marxists had some flimsy excuse to derail the career of a common sense patriotic Canadian that they loathed because of… oh, we don’t know… toxic masculinity? And let’s not forget the role of one particular liberal in this saga, namely Ron “The Rat” MacLean. Indeed, if Don’s words were so repugnant, then why didn’t Ron object? Rather, as Cindy Cherry notes, Ron was “bobbing his head in agreement throughout the dialogue, gave Dad the thumbs-up and at the end said, ‘love you for it.’” Furthermore, Cindy notes: “HNiC repeated this Coach’s Corner for their central Canadian viewers. How bad could they have felt it was if they rebroadcasted it?” But no, the cowardly suits at Rogers — caved to the vocal minority and quickly pulled the plug on Coach’s Corner. And when they did, Ron MacLean could’ve and should’ve taken a stand. He could’ve and should’ve said words to the effect of, “Hey, if Don goes, I go.” But then again, that would have made for a principled stand. And second banana rats aren’t all that concerned about principles, not when there’s a juicy six-figure salary on the line. It’s just business, baby. To add insult to injury, MacLean appeared the following Saturday to make a groveling apology. And soon thereafter Hockey Night in Canada went woefully woke in terms of the content aired between periods. It was insufferable and unwatchable. In the days that followed this cancellation, Cindy became further upset about the spin Poppygate was receiving. She writes: “The narrative that Rogers/Sportsnet and Ron put out to the rest of the media was that all Don had to do to keep his job was apologize and he wouldn’t. This is what a lot of the corporate media shills and people on social media jumped on—why didn’t Don just say he’s sorry and then he would have gotten back his job?” But Cindy says that narrative was completely bogus; that the fix was always in. She further writes: “To me, there was no doubt Rogers wanted Dad gone, so they backed him into a corner knowing he wouldn’t kneel to their demands. I believe many people knew there was more to the story about Dad’s firing but didn’t bother looking into it and just went with the corporate narrative.” In fact, it should be noted that it was never Cindy’s intention to write a book even though she always had a ringside seat when it came to being near her famous father. But there came a point during this raging controversy when she simply couldn’t take the B.S. any longer. She had to set the record straight. And for that, we owe her a debt of gratitude. Alas, it’s too bad the Cindy Cherry never got to see the fruits of her labour. Cindy passed away last July at the age of 67 after a brief illness. This was very hard on Don. Regardless, her legacy is a book that dispels the lies and myths that the left and the cowards at Rogers concocted when it comes to the Don Cherry saga. We owe her a debt of gratitude for setting the record straight about this great Canadian. Of note, Don Cherry is 91 years old. At this point, we must wonder how long this national treasure will remain with us. We can tell you this much: when Don passes, millions of Canadians will mourn that day. Some speculate Ron will be remembered as a backstabber and a betrayer, whereas Don spoke his mind, told the truth, and stood by his principles even when threatened with career cancellation — which did indeed come to fruition. One final thought: Don Cherry was and remains immensely popular. And once upon a time, he was responsible for the single most watched segment of TV in the nation. He was a cash cow when it came to attracting advertisers and sponsors. Thus, in the final analysis, the really disturbing thing about his unceremonious cancellation is this: if the powers-that-be can cancel Don Cherry, they can cancel anyone.
