@DarrenMillarMS @BBCWalesNews Bilingualism is a very valuable asset for a child no matter what the languages concerned. Far better to phase out Gwynedd Council.

@DarrenMillarMS @BBCWalesNews The only way to guarantee bilingualism is by going to a Welsh-medium school. Nobody leaves an English-medium school speaking fluent Welsh; everybody leaves a Welsh-medium school speaking both fluently.

@DarrenMillarMS @BBCWalesNews Welsh politics is all about transforming wales into a third work country and always has been. It’s why so many of us Taffs live in England.

@DarrenMillarMS @BBCWalesNews Because of the global benefits of being able to speak Welsh? Morons! Anyone can speak Welsh, just gargle some phlegm and spit whilst you’re talking.

@DarrenMillarMS @BBCWalesNews I wonder whether the intent is to deliberately provoke a response, so that they can claim people are trying to suppress the Welsh Language which is obviously not true. Both PC and SNP love a victim narrative however.

@DarrenMillarMS @BBCWalesNews Then you better get busy translating every single movie and show into Welsh.

@DarrenMillarMS @BBCWalesNews This is rubbish!! English will be taught as a subject in all schools and up to 30 % of other subjects can be taught in English. Every child will leave school fully bilingual in both Welsh and English. Typical Tories the anti Welsh party. No wonder you were kicked out last year!!

@DarrenMillarMS @BBCWalesNews Either a joke or very misguided. Being proud of your language is one thing, deliberately putting your children at an educational disadvantage is another level altogether.

@DarrenMillarMS @BBCWalesNews You know that this is untrue. All children will be bilingual as a result of this policy. At the moment, some are missing out which is unfair on them.

@DarrenMillarMS @BBCWalesNews Those kids are gonna have fun getting a job when they realise 99% of them require you to speak English fluently. There’s only so many people the local shop and pub can hire.

@DarrenMillarMS @BBCWalesNews Isn't this the policy of the Socialist run Senedd too? They want to see Wales as Welsh speaking only by 2050? The @GOVUK need to put both Gwynedd County Council and the Welsh Government, firmly in their place?
