He had a great game here. I noticed that he thrived because there's always someone open to receive the ball from him after every hold up play he made. I think playing him alongside another false 9 will improve his game at Arsenal. Or Odegaard playing more as a 10 than an 8.

gyokeres hate is so forced he tries his best even thou his not the best on the ball he works so hard he can score alot of goals for his team if we play through his strengths

Most of you guys sound like this striker is an absolute 💩. He played in an Arsenal side last season that barely passed him the ball and he still scored 21 goals in all competitions and we still see him an ass. We bought Gyokeres bcos Kai was shit.

I think the diffrence still remains Gyokos isolation in arsenal, usually him vs 3 or 2 cbs Am odegard is usually on the RHS, rice/skelly to far back But he had a really good game yesterday

Magnetic feet

He struggles with the ball at his feet. All his touches and turns feel laboured. He gets goals though but he will never be that silky player on the ball

Thing is, if Kai is injured for a while, it probably couldn’t have happened at a better time. The international break means Viktor has potentially 4 games to get back into a rhythm scoring goals against relatively decent opposition and then slot back into the team

International football is just more chaotic than club football, especially the premier league which is the most organised division in football. Viktor thrives in chaos, so he gets more moments in games like this.

He needs to work on his first touch and control.

Aside the poorly crafted goal which further exposed his ball controlling technique against a very poor Romanian defence and team, there was nothing exceptional in his game and it shows why he keeps struggling against Premier League defenses.

Likes playing with a second striker for unfortunately Arteta’s tactics doesn’t involve this.
