If you look at the conversation thread next to my post it ends making the point if housing is so high how are foreigners able to afford, more gov handouts and here in the USA some will live about 10 deep in one apartment.

Agree but H1Bs should not just be abolished because there are other skilled work programs. Those programs too should be abolished like the H1B because these jobs at the end of the day take American jobs

Did everyone forget the Millennials attempted to enter the labor market fresh out of college either during or just after the Great Recession and were offered to literally *work for free* and were bypassed for entry level jobs by people with Masters degrees and years of professional experience and we were just told to stop eating avocado toast when there were just no jobs ... No one remembers? And we were also told we were overpopulating the planet and it was best not to have children even tho between paying student debt and working for free there was not even a thought to get married and have kids All of a sudden we care because it's happening to Gen Z ...

2026 midterms should be about H-1B visa elimination, any politician that is not willing to eliminate needs to be voted out, it’s very clear many politicians are benefiting from keeping this visa scam going

Yes exactly, we have added so many workers to the workforce supply that wages have plummeted, this created pressure on families and destroyed relationships, creating an unhealthy environment for children to be raised causing mental and emotional scars that grow and then are passed to the next generation and everything gets exponentially worse. We need to bring back one income families.

1990…GenX has been dealing with immigrant influxes their entire adult, working life. It is horrible and has only gotten worse for Millennials.

The owner of a real estate company thought it would be fun to build everyone their own tiny home as an office instead of the typical boring cubicles. He felt that it would be more private for them and it would be fun for the to customize and make it their own. When the workers get to work they seem to be at a home away from home. They are happier and more productive. Would you want to work in your own home office like this or should he just let them have cubicles like everyone else?

What I want is for people who are not corrupt, who are well-informed about the issue, to figure out what the best level of immigration is and to set up a process that works. Farewell to International Space Station! This is truly a special place, special mission, and special team that makes it happen. It is a bittersweet departure today – I have a keen awareness that I may never be back here, and even if I was, it would be at a different time with a different crew. This chapter is over. Spaceflight has always been a life goal, and it has turned into a life-fulfilling endeavor – but not for the reasons I thought growing up. When I was young, I pictured the launch, the incredible ball of fire and the acceleration, the spacewalks (how could you not wonder what it’s like to be in that suit?), and I was fascinated by the shuttles, capsules, and stations. But as I complete this second mission living and working in space, what draws me to this job is the people. Experiences like this are amazing, but the relationships we build that make it possible are the “why.” Every day, this mission depends on people from all over the world, of different nationalities, races, religions, and cultures. It depends on government and commercial entities, it depends on all political parties, and it depends on commitment to an unchanged goal over many years and decades. It depends on people dedicated to being part of something bigger than themselves, whose names may never be known but who wake up every day to make the world a better place and to be part of something they will be proud to tell their grandkids about. History will look kindly upon them. Humans have always had a propensity to explore … across lands and oceans, up mountains, and into the sky. We as a species will never stop wondering what else is out there, and what it would be like to go. But then, in the words of TS Elliot, “…at the end of all our exploring, will be to arrive where we started, and know the place for the first time.” Crew-10 is on its way home.

An incredible strength in what it does to protect the freedoms and rights of its people. Oh, there's great strength in that. And it is very fragile. And I say do not despair because in a democracy, as long as we can keep it, in our democracy the people, every individual has the power to make a decision about what this will be. We rise to a moment and we stand on broad shoulders of people who have fought this fight before for our country. And in many ways let us look at the challenge then that we are being presented and not be overwhelmed by it. The baton is now in our hands, to fight for, not against, but for this country we love.

Her response was priceless. AOC: Once they can be on the up and up, providing their own energy, building out and investing in the infrastructure, refusing to free ride off of the American people, then we can continue to develop and explore this technology.
