Melissa Hortman was only 55 years old. She had a lot more to do. It is so bitter and so sad that her life was taken - assassinated for fighting for what she believed in. It will now be up to us to carry on these fights. I will miss her leadership and her friendship as our state navigates these uncertain times. May the memory of Melissa and Mark be a blessing for all who knew and loved them.

For thirty years the people of this country have been repeatedly told that experts are the answer to any problem. Need to build more housing? Need to invest in infrastructure? Need to manage the currency? Don’t worry! An expert committee will be formed! And yet the record of governance by experts in that time is appalling. Can you think of a part of the state that functions better under these people? Perhaps the truth that our political class fails to grasp is this: running a country is not a matter for specialist expertise, it is a political exercise. I would love to see the Clintons perp-walked like Steve Bannon, Peter Navarro, and all the others they helped jail for political reasons. They deserve it, but we should NOT arrest them for contempt of Congress over Epstein. It's a TRAP. Congress has made it clear time and time again that they either don't have anything on the Clintons regarding Epstein, or they don’t have the guts to release it. All an arrest would do is give more ammo to the media to say, “SEE! Republicans are jailing their enemies!” The arsonists will only have more “proof” that it’s the firefighters who are the oppressors. DON’T FALL FOR IT.

One thing you'll notice listening to women talk about divorce is it's always about them, not about their children. Divorce is harder on kids than the death of a parent. "What if I was wasting my time" - years later your kids will be dealing with the consequences of you "not wasting time." Statistically it's more likely they'll be doing that from prison (if dad's not in the picture - and so many women fight for that to be the case). If we had more people fighting to make a good home for their children instead of living their best life society would be a lot better than it is.

Three men have been jailed for a total of over 28 years between them for supplying cocaine across Bolton and Bury. Kieron Leonard of Blackrod, was sentenced to 14 years and three months after he was convicted of being concerned in the supply of cocaine. Rhys Shaw of Bury, was sentenced to seven years and six months after he was convicted of being concerned in the supply of cocaine. This young lady was trying to finish her workout in the machine when another woman attempted to kick her off of it because she’s in a rush. The woman claimed the young lady was already on the machine for 10 minutes and felt entitled enough to say that it’s her turn now. What would you do? I would ignore her in hopes she walks away, at least the whole thing is on camera so she can report it. After working out for about 30 years now, I can say that most of the time gym people are pretty chill people. Every so often I see some Karen types beginning to come in and ruin the experience for other people. What I hate is they try to rush me off the machine only for them to sit there and scroll on their phone. I used to avoid the confrontation by just letting them use it, I can always come back to it I would say to myself. After seeing so many of them so comfortable with imposing their will on others I now just ignore them, I won’t even acknowledge them, that’s why I have headphones on anyways, it’s my excuse to ignore them without being rude. It doesn’t make sense to me by getting out of their way when I was first. I understand if I was on there for a long time then maybe I will let them go first but the way I see it, I am every bit entitled to use it when I get there first, I shouldn’t have to get out of the way just because they want me to. Would you do the same? I would like to think most people would agree with me on this matter.

These were some good lads, and I’d like to think I won them over in the end! 🇬🇧 So many young people have been indoctrinated throughout the entire education system and taught what to think instead of how to think. Most have never even been exposed to opposing views or had their ideas properly challenged. That’s why grassroots conversations and public debates matter so much. It’s up to those of us in the know to break things down, ask difficult questions, challenge narratives, and undo the brainwashing that so many young people have been subjected to for years. Respect to these lads for actually engaging, listening, and having a respectful conversation. That alone puts them ahead of most young people!
