Especially us getting up there in age where life’s responsibilities tend to pull us away or drown us. Easy to not talk to your tribe for weeks even months. I find it imperative that we LEAN harder into tribe, healthy habits and rewire ourselves to say “we deserve it all”

Literally I had this convo w my best friend about “implementing healthy reinforcements of healing instead of coping” It’s been a few years but the cure is in the practice. Leaning into resources instead of being recluse. Communicating it with your friends and building support

I hope u know how special u r. Most people blame others instead of making changes by working on themselves. Childhood trauma is real. We carry it into adulthood. I have become a constant work in progress. I just want to be better all around.

@185ordie Keep shopping for a therapist. Even if you are super introspective a good therapist will be able to work w/ that bc you’re doing some of the work for them. Remember you hire them, so if they can’t do the job to your satisfaction move on.

I would seek out another therapist who understands the value of just talking. Asking how your day went. Letting you speak on how you think you’re going to solve a problem and STILL give you their advice while acknowledging what your plans are.

I went through the same thing. Finally I just jumped in, every time I go back for old tools that comfort me, I force myself down a different route. I find that the Epiphany is what saves you. That's the start of a new level. That's the start of you truly saving yourself
