Had everyone in a chokehold 8 years ago

Nasty C's verse>>>>

Rent was due

There’s never been any intro close to this masterpiece by Nasty C

I miss prime Nasty C

Nasty C was it rent? I can't even tell😂

@Emmanue76238972 Bro was definitely facing being locked out 😂😂😂

Song so good I still use that line, "what would it take to change your plans for the weekend?" to rizz in 2026.

8 years ago? This song is still asphyxiating me to date 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nasty C's verse in particular is the greatest intro to any song ever @JoyNdiwa

Nasty C is a genius. I still love patikula….

Nilikua class 8 morio wangu alikua tu "gari, gari gari go" the whole day😂😂

@Iceprincezamani did a madness with this hook.

Chokehold — I don’t know about that but it was/is a great song

It's not about you Igwe karl

Lmao I never said it was, funny how I could accuse you of same thing too Njuguma. Including everyone like it was a spiritual covenant?

@coolkid__8 You have got to be a Nigerian male. They never get it.

@coolkid__8 U must be a stupid male cos that’s how you sound. Stupid!!

If you grabbed my earphones every 7am on my way to class in 2017, 99% of the chances were, that song was playing. If not, it was probably in the queue.

Spot on! The best intro in a song ever

If Nasty-C was Nigerian he would have been bigger than what he is now.

Get you life, get your life lil mama, won’t you get your life on 🎶

@dawn_of_africa Major lazer took my soul with these feature. Song so good can be played for the next 100years and still sound sweet 😍

Eviction notice was up when Nasty C wrote that verse

Bro how dem take come together record this p🤧 Ts forever a classic !

Absolutely love this song, but more often than not I'm scared to play it because it takes me down a rabbit hole of bittersweet nostalgia

Nasty-c!! May God bless you everyday of your life.

The visuals of this song was top
