A man who has never worked in a house before decides to attempt to install a roof vent because his home doesn’t have any and it’s causing massive heat spikes in the attic, how did he do, anything you would have done differently? I’ve been in his shoes before, I already told you about the first thing I attempted and I messed it up, not too bad but enough. Another time was when I was installing my first toilet. The one I was replacing leaked at the base. The flange it screwed into was a plastic Oatey flange and where the bolt holds down the toilet was broken. So the first thing I did was shut off the water, I drained the tank and proceeded to undo the bolts. I lifted it straight up and put it in a bag so it wouldn’t drip on the way down the stairs. I unscrewed the broken flange and replaced it with a new one. The problem was that since it was leaking, some of the wood was soft. I know I should have replaced the board but I didn’t. I ended up rotating the flange until I could screw into good dry board. That was my first mistake. Because after I got the new toilet base on, I over tightened it and not only cracked the toilet but I pulled up the flange because the wood was weak. Since I was replacing the tile anyways I ended up removing everything I did and I broke up all the tile and removed it. I took off the board and replaced it with a new one. I retraced my steps after I installed the vinyl floor planks and trimmed them to fit the flange. When I put the toilet back down it wasn’t flush. The old tile was thicker than the planks I put down so what I ended up doing was going to the store and getting silicone shims. In some spots I had to use several, I tightened it down and it worked well. No movement at all. I’m not sure if what I did was right but it worked. To this day that toilet is still in operation and it hasn’t budged since.

🧸 “how do you feel after getting lasik? is it good?” i’ll tell you guys this! before i got my tonsillectomy, i looked up a lot of vlogs and…a majority of people said that they felt like they were going to die so i was really worried before the surgery but i’m tolerant to pain so it was better than i excepted…my mom always made porridge for me so i ate that well too, ate it for every meal, took my medicines and left the humidifier on so…of course it hurt a bit because i got surgery but it wasn’t that bad 🧸 but after i got my lasik eye surgery, my eyes and nose were running for 6 hours straight and you know how your eyes really hurt when you make eye contact with the sun…like you tear up and your eyes hurt…it was that feeling for 6 hours straight like even if i had my eyes closed, it felt like the sunlight was inside my eyes and i was fighting it for 6 hours straight 🧸 so for the tonsillectomy, i couldn’t eat what i wanted and i couldn’t talk so that discomfort was the thing that was hard…it didn’t hurt but for the lasik eye surgery, my eyes really hurt a lot! the really fascinating thing though is that i was like “mom, this is so hard!!” for 6 hours and then i got tired of it so i fell asleep and when i woke up after 3 hours, i could see the world really well, i was fascinated and was like “mom!! it doesn’t hurt at all anymore and i can see things very well!!”

#SEONGHWA talking about watching his favorite musical, Les Misérables., for the first time in a theater in London! ⭐️: Anyway, as for what I did today, I’m talking in circles (not answering). Today… so yesterday after dinner I saw they were performing a musical. I’ve seen a lot of small‑theater musicals but I’ve never seen a really big musical live, like in person. So… and they happened to be performing my favorite! What could it be~? Oh, someone got it right. It's Les Misérables. When did it come out? I was in wlementary school? Wait, when did Les Misérables come out in Korea? When it first released I went to see it with my mom, just the two of us. (After researching it) Here it says it came out in 2012. Then how old was I? Was I in middle school? Yes, right. I went to see it with my mom, the two of us, and it was so fun. I think it was the first musical film I properly watched in a theater. Before that I watched Mamma Mia on DVD when I was in Australia, but I couldn’t understand it then so I didn’t know what was fun about it. Les Mis was the first musical film I properly saw in a theater. I loved it so much that I went to see it three or four more times. And then yesterday, when I came out after eating, I saw this huge billboard for it. So, since I’m the type who acts fast once I decide, I said “I’m going to watch it today,” and went with my manager. There were real session musicians there, like down below. I was shocked by that. From above, like slightly, youu could see the conductor. I didn’t know that, I thought they played MR... So I was like, “this is awesome.” I went and bought merch too. But I didn’t know which seats were good, so I just chose the seat in the back of the first floor. But because there’s a second floor, my view was blocked, my view of the stage looked like this (obstructed from the bottom and above), so I watched slouching on my chair like this. Now I know, the front row of the second floor is the best. Or the very front of the first floor so you can see the actors’ expressions well. But movies are better from the back so (I though was the same for musicals). Anyway. Yes, I think it was a “restricted view” seat... it was probably cheaper. Anyway, the show was 2 hours 50 minutes and since I know the movie so well I understood everything even without subtitles. It was so fun. I knew most of the songs too. It was my first time seeing a musical in such a big venue so it was really great. The actors too were amazing. There were about 40? And the set, there were at least 10 different ones. I don’t know how it works, because it’s was not people moving/changing sets. They just slid in and out and the stage transitions were so smooth. Who’s my favorite character? Oh, that's a hard question? First, I like Marius. Ah, actualyy, when I was younger I liked Cosette and Marius. But now I feel drawn to Éponine. Because she loves so... unconditionally. After watching it today, Éponine loves Marius but even while she’s in a one‑sided love, she tells him where the girl he loves lives and helps him escape. That's so sad. Fantine was really pitiful too. Kind of... unfairly treated? My favorite song is One Day More, of course. And today, there were songs that felt different listening now that I’m older. I don't know the titles so I’ll have to look them up. The lingering feeling was strong, it felt similar to when I first watched it. And after that act (One Day More), the audience clapped and cheered so loudly. You know, I thought musicals were supposed to be quiet? But everyone was cheering so loudly, so I clapped and shouted too. And right after it ended the lights suddenly turned on and I was like, "is it over?" but it was the intermission. There were Act 1 and Act 2. I was so confused, I really thought it was over. I asked myself, “Is this a half‑length movie?" I mean, "musical?” Everyone got up so naturally and I was just confused alone. Anyway, the orchestra was seriously so cool. I want to see it in Korea too.

Well no one can say that my life isn’t one big adventure. I got the train to Woodbridge in Suffolk today so that I could go out on my sailing boat and spend the night on it. I got to my dinghy and then just needed to row a couple of hundred metres to my boat. Well, the second I rowed out into the river, the wind picked up and blew like crazy. The tide was also racing in so half way across I was rowing like mad and going nowhere. I did not fancy being pushed onto the banks as that would not have been ideal. Luckily, I managed to grab hold of a boat on a swinging mooring in the river and tied on. I sat there in my dinghy, in the middle of the river with the wind blowing so hard it was hard to think. The rain was also lashing down by this point and I decided that sitting there for the rest of my life was not what I wanted, so I called the boatyard and they sent a guy in a motorboat out who towed me back in. I’m going to have to accept that a trip to Woodbridge involves getting soaked. Anyway, now I’m here in the most beautiful oasis. A gorgeous bell tent to myself and the lady has brought me tea and coffee as her chickens follow her around. This couldn’t be more beautiful. So you see, just when you think it’s all rubbish, things change and you’re happy again. I love this place.

Well no one can say that my life isn’t one big adventure. I got the train to Woodbridge in Suffolk today so that I could go out on my sailing boat and spend the night on it. I got to my dinghy and then just needed to row a couple of hundred metres to my boat. Well, the second I rowed out into the river, the wind picked up and blew like crazy. The tide was also racing in so half way across I was rowing like mad and going nowhere. I did not fancy being pushed onto the banks as that would not have been ideal. Luckily, I managed to grab hold of a boat on a swinging mooring in the river and tied on. I sat there in my dinghy, in the middle of the river with the wind blowing so hard it was hard to think. The rain was also lashing down by this point and I decided that sitting there for the rest of my life was not what I wanted, so I called the boatyard and they sent a guy in a motorboat out who towed me back in.
