had to bring back "The Eric Metcalf Game" for his birthday 😮‍💨

Back when the Browns were a competently run franchise and not a analytics joke.

Wish the Browns kept that uniform style with the numbers on the sleeves (like the Raiders) with the stripes on the elastic ends (like the Redskins). Chiefs and Bears should have kept it that way, too.

One of greatest regular season games ever.

We loved Eric Metcalf....we just got tired of "Metcalf Up The Middle" syndrome

Why wouldn’t you tag him??? wtf is wrong with your social media team??? @EricMetcalf21 is a legend for this team. Maybe tag him when honoring his greatness?

@EricMetcalf21 The headline of the PD the next day was “Eric the Great”. That newspaper hung on my wall for over a decade.

@Browns19801 I miss these days. Hands down @EricMetcalf21 was my favorite player to watch growing up. Was my 1st Browns Jersey I ever bought. Such a great talent and great person. Class act!

Never….Ever….Gets…..Old. HBD 🎂 @EricMetcalf21 !!!!

Happy birthday. @EricMetcalf21

Eric Metcalf was the definition of Game Changer...

Metcalf single-handedly won games. What a legend.

Which return was it where he pulled a slalom move on two guys right at the goal line?

God this guy was fun to watch

Meanwhile now we have a team nobody wants to coach

One\nOf the best running back of the cleveland browns!

@EricMetcalf21 Interview @EricMetcalf21 for ST coordinator. I’m sure hiring a hc and an OC comes first….. but give this man a shot…. He was exceptional player and always gave it his all. He was electric to watch and if anyone knows how to beat the Steelers it was him

That man was a problem!

I was there ! The rust was shaking off the rafters in the upper deck on that second one ! haha, Happy birthday Eric !

@EricMetcalf21 HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

HIRE A COACH ALREADY YOU GHOULS 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼

@EricMetcalf21 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Saw this in person. As a Steelers fan, it hurt. Still hurts…🤣

You know it’s bad when you have to reach 30 years back

Wonderful memories. Thanks for posting. #GoBrowns

Happy Birthday @EricMetcalf21

In 2025, refs would call holding on both of these returns. Not because there was holding, but because it's the Browns.

Have we had a return score since his era? 😂

He caught that ball and ran like Prime Time

So fun to watch!

Don’t forget the Raiders game too! 4TDs

Somehing we’ll never forget !!!

Yes, love it... at least it was NOT "Metcalf up The Middle"😁

Metcalf and Cribbs in my top 5 Browns ALL TIME !!!!!

@614DawgPound He was lightning speed! I so enjoyed watching him play!
