Self-replicating manufacturing is the most critical component in ensuring that force projection and area operation denial doesn’t come at an incomprehensible cost of American lives and treasure. Chris is actually making a better future. @2112Power

@JoshuaSteinman 2 things stand out: 1. An immigrant (again) making a significant contribution. Good immigration continues to be a pillar of American acceleration. 2. Market economy led to some amazing insights that will most likely propel manufacturing 10X

This was so good. 2 months ago I got a tour of my aunts family foundry in Brazil. Her father founded it from scratch after leaving Ford 50+ years ago, inventing, manufacturing and patenting heavy metal parts used for railway industry. To this day, at 80+ years old, companies all over the world consult with him for his engineering talent. That being said, they lamented not having kept up with technology or with the changing market - it's now a fraction of what it once was. Glad the Hadrians of the world are taking up the torch.

@yrechtman 8:00 – feels so bang on to your thesis on software co vertically-integrating with op co's in industries where there is adoption risk.
