A musician himself, his taste in tunes is widely celebrated, and he has gone on record a number of times to state his love for the Beatles and particularly their singer John Lennon. When it comes to Murphy’s favourite Lennon album, he can’t look beyond his debut solo album, John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Murphy was asked what the best music he’s ever been recommended is. He replied, “So I’m a Beatles fanatic, a Beatles nut, and I have been ever since I was very young. My dad has been playing the Beatles since I was tiny.” He added, “I don’t know what age I was, and I don’t know exactly who it was, but someone introduced me to the Plastic Ono Band, the John Lennon record. RM (RM) recently opened up about the song that got him through his mandatory military service in South Korea—T and Mr.Mrs's "Darling, I."⁠ ⁠ When asked in an interview for Rolling Stone about the music he connected with that helped him get through that time, he explained, "The military felt too long for me… I just kept thinking, man, maybe it's gonna be like forever—and then the forever is too long.” That line became something he returned to constantly. He sat for a little while, then everyone knew that the show was about to start -- it lasted about 30 minutes. When it ended, I wrapped up my shots. Then, his security guards came and escorted Jungkook out immediately. That was it, no more chance to get more pictures. He went down the elevator, waved goodbye, and left. Honestly, I’ve been covering fashion week for 13-14 years now, and Jungkook is on the same level as Justin Bieber. It’s really that hard to get near him. Practically unapproachable. So, the fact that I got that close made me feel incredibly happy and proud. I just want to tell everyone how glad I am that I did my job well and captured the content that made everyone excited and thrilled. Personally, I’m really proud. It turns out that Jungkook was actually invited to perform alongside American singer Usher at the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show, but he couldn’t make it due to his mandatory military service. He would have been the first K-pop artist ever to take that stage, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen. Still, with the growing global influence of K-pop and Asian artists and even Spanish songs making it to the Super Bowl, I think fans from those regions must be incredibly excited.

Yesterday, I had the honor of documenting my good friend Chris Hall in Rolling Fork, Mississippi doing what he does best helping communities all across the U.S. after disaster strikes. Over 75 pizzas from Domino’s, 600 slices to be exact, 100 meals from Waffle House, and so much more were handed out to those in need after the most significant ice storm to ever hit the region left thousands without power for days. What made this story even more special is the personal connection myself, and Chris both have to Rolling Fork after spending weeks here following the 2023 tornado. For me, being back brought mixed emotions. Grateful to help but heartbroken to see a community I grew so close to struck by hardship once again. Please show Chris some love in the comments for his outstanding work helping communities like RF get back on their feet. I know this is a long video, but Rolling Fork needs their voices heard. I spoke with multiple residents who feel they were forgotten as attention and resources were directed toward Oxford and elsewhere, and I stand behind them. Aside from the hard working linemen in town, I saw nobody helping except the locals. Lastly, Rolling Fork, as I said three years ago, you will always be in my heart. If you ever need anything, we are here for you ❤️

Taehyung is the biggest factor that attract new people to BTS, in addition to his amazing talents, Taehyung is extremely genuine, he doesn’t let society dictate his actions. He is unapologetically himself and that’s a man worth following. 👩🏻 I stayed up last night watching interviews of BTS. The more I get to know them, the more I love them. They are unapologetically themselves, and they're so real, and I think that's why they have such a strong fan base. I was watching this one interview with, I think it was Rolling Stone, and in the middle of the interview, V, he was talking about one of the songs, and JM said, Hey, you have snot coming out of your nose. And V just stopped, got some tissue paper, shoved it up his left nostril, and went on with the interview like it was nothing. I love that so much. He did not care. As someone who is also Korean, for most of us, we're raised to be, to be prim and proper in front of people that we don't know. There are certain expectations of you, certain things that you're supposed to say, things that you're not supposed to say. The fact that he just went in with the interview, he did not let that stop him. For most celebrities that would have been in the same situation, what they probably would have done, most likely, is pause the interview, go to the restroom, take care of business, come back, and ask the people to edit that part out. He didn't do that, you guys. And I've already been a big fan of them, and now I'm an even bigger fan. (

Even if I crack a note or stumble, putting all that aside, I tell myself to have fun. Another thing I really value is — Some will say appearance is important, expressions, outfit, everything — but I'm not great at multitasking. For me, it's just two things: singing and dancing.
