Markham is a terrible location for this race. It's not like there is a full-time racetrack about 67 km east that hosts IMSA, NASCAR Canada, is FIA-sanctioned, and has hosted Formula 1 races before going to Montreal...

1st practice was supposed to be at 9am. Wow, just wow.

If only the owners of Mosport(CTMP) cared enough to upgrade it for Indy and GTP we might have had a real race track to enjoy a race at. This is a very bad look for the race organizers. They would have been better off taking the 1 year break and sending it back to the Ex grounds.
