I am so in love with the direction they chose for this scene God it feels like two actual humans having a conversation that devolves very naturally into violence This is the first time i see this level of realism in a shonen anime

Uraume probably killed themselves but last week someone mentioned the possibility Hikari dropped the train doors on his neck so he had to use his ice to seal the wound shut.

Hold up, let’s talk about how this whole scene made me feel as if I wasn’t supposed to be there to begin with: the silent with a bit of tension rising It felt so naturally unsettling to watch from the sidelines🫰🏾

This entire sceen was so well done, the camera angle gave a unique perspective to such a calm dialog and you could feel how the intensity grew till the very end.

I see what they did here towards the end of the episode, but I personally preferred a one-to-one adaptation like how it was in the manga, instead of this long shot of 4 plus minutes before the characters finally changed the angles when they headbutt

Anime onlys watching this and think that’s all Hakari can do and are like “he’s supposed to be on par with Yuta sure…” wait until they see his domain rules
