Enrique literaly changed how Hakimi's playing for PSG. So no it's not "good players find space" in his case, it's literally PSG tactic to use him this way. And btw Cruyff played with inverted fullbacks in the 90.

What makes Themba Zwane such a special player is his intelligence both on and off the ball. His off-the-ball movement is special, you can watch the clip below, he’s constantly scanning, creating angles, dragging defenders out of shape, and arriving in space at the right moments. In the PSL, you often see players pass the ball and then switch off, standing still and waiting for it to come back, that’s usually a sign of poor football development. Zwane understands space, timing, and game awareness at a very high level. Do you know which other players in the PSL consistently show that same level of movement and football IQ?

Scotland - Building out from the Back I feel like there is a huge lack of clarity in the way we play & that responsibility sits with coaches as much as the players: > Are Defenders to Play? > Are the "CDM's" to Show & Build? > Fullbacks Allowed to Find Space? I have watched McKenna & Hendry play out successfully in Belgium and Croatia with possession based teams and be good at it. I have watched Ferguson & McLean play in Top-5 Leagues and show for the ball and dictate play. Is this a lack of clarity, lack of coached "Style" or individual errors or a mixture of both?!

This couple is out to dinner. They were able to narrow down the menu and order what they think would be good. After the waiter brings them their food, they start to eat, the woman is having regret for what she ordered and asked to try some of his food. She ends up liking what he ordered more and starts eating off his plate until his mashed potato’s were almost gone. Was it cool she ate most of his food without even offering him any of hers, shouldn’t he just have ordered her another meal the same as his, what would you do if someone started eating all of your food?

The “This Is Football” doc has great segment of Pep Guardiola watching his Barcelona game tape and adressing idea that Messi walks lazily around the pitch: “He’s walking. That’s what I like the most. He is not out of the game, he’s involved. He’s moving his head. Right, left, left, right. He knows exactly what is going to happen. But his head is always…moving. He’s not running, but he’s always watching what’s happening. He smells where are the weak points in the back four. After 5-10 minutes, he has the map in his eyes…in his brain to know exactly where is the space and what is the panorama. It’s like being in the jungle and I have to survive. And he knows if I move here or here, I will have more space to attack."
