Haliburton didn’t just cook at MSG — he used Stephen A Smith’s take on him not being a superstar as seasoning.

@stephenasmith Speaking of the superstars you were discussing, I appreciated your response to Falk’s comment about how LeBron shopped for players & teams for help. Jordan had 1 team, but SAS knows Jordan had Phil Jackson who milked zebras on side the triangle. LeBron had non pedestal coaches.

@stephenasmith glad your always exposing this guy and his asinine takes meanwhile all these superstars are home

@stephenasmith Thank you for always keeping it real & not being political. You and @McNuttMonica are a true gem on the show. It reminds me of how Max challenge SA with real facts

@stephenasmith Bro, how are they letting you on first take, you have a crying face everytime you talk, not sure if its all the meds u took post motorcycle accident, kendrick perkins, sucks dude cant make any points, mad dog is trash 🗑️. This show sucks, like they manipulating viewer numbers

@stephenasmith You need to retire from ever talking to be honest, probably work at safeway or fred meyer or get remote job. You were saying ass, ass trying to making a point on first take while you have w crying face. Perhaps get a bachelors degree in journalism. U, stephen a smith all r trash

@stephenasmith there aren't "levels of superstar." superstar is the top level of star, the best of the best, and there is no way you can put haliburton in that category without making the term meaningless. this is why he gets voted most overrated, bc of takes like this.

$EYE Don’t Lie: The Signal Was There If you're just hearing about National Vision Holdings, Inc. ($EYE) and rushing to buy it at the open—stop. That’s not the Hedgeye process. That’s FOMO. The stock already moved from $9 to $19. You’re late if you’re chasing headlines. But the opportunity isn’t gone. The same process that flagged the breakdown from $43 to $9 is now signaling a bullish phase transition. That’s what matters. $EYE was a disaster—$43 to $9 while people kept buying lower highs: $43 → $27 → $23 → $9. Total collapse. But now? We’re seeing a higher low. Then bullish trade. Then bullish trend. When those levels converge, it’s one of the most bullish fractal setups we track. And it’s not just the chart. Our Healthcare analyst Tom Tobin’s proprietary revenue data was front-running the signal. He’s hosting a Black Book call on $EYE this Thursday at 2:00pm ET. When signal, fundamentals, and Quad all align? That’s not noise. That’s conviction. Tobin’s data shows accelerating revenue growth into easy comps. That’s no accident. The model’s built to catch it before it hits the tape. Hedgeye CEO Keith McCullough broke this down live on The Macro Show this morning—because when a name makes that kind of move, it’s not random. It’s process. Don't chase. Subscribe to The Macro Show to stay ahead of the pack.

@stephenasmith “Ya Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas, those guys didn’t have to score 25ppg to be the face of a franchise…. Oh but Halliburton does.” What??

@stephenasmith Haliburton has like 3 or 4 game winners or tying shots in the Playoffs If he’s not a Superstar the criteria and the bar has been raised extremely high and there’s only 3 to 4 Superstars in the league and they’re the guys who are already established

@stephenasmith Jay, your takes are sharp and grounded—rare traits in a room full of volume.
